Sushi is not the freshest, service is mediocre, and they add imitation crab as a filler. The last time I was there, I ordered a spicy scallop handroll, it came with more imitation crab than the scallops. When I told them I didn't want the imitation crab, they told me that's how they make it and it would cost more... More

Made reservation for 7 pm, by 8:30 still no table and the girl up front was seating walk ins! I reminds her I was still waiting with my wife, she apologizes " oh it's very busy tonight" still no seating, the manager could care less, the service there is a hot mess!

We had sushi here which was average. They do have Hawaiian influence like spam items. They have a lot of outside space and have a series of pavillion that you can eat in around the main building.

I had lunch here with my 3 boys after a walk along the seaside in La Jolla. It was about a 10 minute walk up from the seashore. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. There were a lot of choices on the menu, from stir fries to burgers to sushi and sashimi. There was something to suit each of us.... More

Decent rolls, tempura, seared ahi. We ordered too many things and our server's head exploded, oh well we had enough to eat. Wished for more variety of sauces. Good value for La Jolla.

Came here on a Living Social Deal and there was a wait to get seated even though we had an opentable reservation. Place definitely needs some renovation. Seating areas were shabby and accent pillows in the booth areas were very faded with food stains on them. Although service was quicker than we anticipated, the quality of the food was nothing... I've always had a great experience here. Sitting outside is relaxing and I love the atmosphere, but inside is fun too. The service isn't stellar, but I've never been in a rush when going so it's never bothered me. I just plan to have a nice long laid back dinner with good company and enjoy the food when it comes.... Sushi did not taste good, too fishy. Some of the rolls sounded a lot better on the menu than they tasted when served. We sat on the patio and service was slow.

Been here a couple of times. It's always good and fresh. Great atmosphere. A little expensive. I will still return!

We had a variety of food from beef ribs, chrichi salad, sushimi to 3 different sushi rolls. All the food was really except the rolls, which were average. Inside the restaurant was okay but when we walked out back we saw how pretty the cabanas were. Looked like a fun place to go with a group of friends. Good service... More
