Great atmosphere...

Four of us ate at this restaurant in the peak of holiday season. Sitting out on the street allowed us to soak in the atmosphere of the locals. 2 women were delighted with their meal choices, the men were content but thought nothing special. The deserts were fantastic. Good value as well

The restaurant scene in San Diego is very good. People like to dine out. Piatti is very dependable for very good food, not excellent. However, the outdoor seating is wonderful. This is a restaurant that everyone enjoys. I have had business associates, foodie friends and my children dine here. Everyone has had a very nice experience here. It is among... More

We found this little spot in La Jolla village during a stay at Torrey Pines. We were fortunate to get in without a reservation as it got pretty busy during our meal. The food is excellent. Started with a wonderfully fresh Caesar salad. For my entrée I had a slow-simmered lamb served with fresh-made pasta. My wife had a chicken... More

The garlic dipping oil brought with the bread was the best I have ever had. My husband had the Cavatappi and I had the Saffron Pappardelle. Pasta was cooked perfectly and had great flavor (even though I wanted a bit more flavor). The tiramisu was excellent; the sorbet serving was generous. While the food was delicious, the service was a... More

We were staying at a nearby hotel. Ate at the restaurant one night and did take out pizza another night. Both were great. Food is tasty, not crazy expensive with good service.

This was one of the best dining experiences in La Jolla! I dined with a large group and the service was on point, quick, and very knowledgeable of the menu and tastes (key to a great dining experience). If visiting, you must try the cauliflower cakes for an appetizer. The portion is great for sharing, although I didn't want to... More

Wonderful food in a great setting. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. It is just wonderful. Cannot rave more about this restaurant.

Food & service was great. It was a bit crowded and noisy, if you’re looking for a place to have an intimate dinner this is not the place. The atmosphere seemed to be geared towards parties & large families

Highly recommend this restaurant. If you are going there for lunch, make sure to get a patio seat as you will dine under the shade of a beautifully centred tree, which only adds to the atmosphere. Try the Italian Mojito for sure; however, ask your server to pair your drink (wine or beer) with your meal. Our server was wonderful... More

I dined here solo on a Saturday night and the service and food were wonderful. Everything was very fresh and the environment was welcoming. Lots of vegetarian options. A perfect California dining experience.
