Yummy Food

Loved my grilled fish sandwich that was made fresh. My son enjoyed getting to look at the fish and other sea creatures in the display cases. My sandwich was large and filling. Ask for the fresh local seafood because a lot of it comes from other places!!

We have been going go El Pescador for close to 10 years and each visit has been consistently good and we have yet to be disappointed. Fish is delivered fresh daily, so I think the menu is dictated by the "catch". Staff are very knowledgable about seafood. There are often seasonal specials. Do not be put off by having to... More

Maybe it was because they moved across the street but, this place used to be fun, good and always had this "local find" kind of feel. They are now in a larger place across the street. Décor was great and nice fish display. Service just okay. Food just okay - really poor but, I still gave them an average rating.... More

Great place to come and eat some amazingly fresh seafood. The staff is super chill yet responsive while bringing out your orders. This blows away the other fish market up in Del Mar and the food is perfect. The location is very modern and the oysters are the best we have ever had. Thanks for the great time and our... More

We stumbled upon this tasty gem quite by accident. The oysters on the half shell were among the best I have ever tasted. We choose a variety of fresh fish from the case and it was cooked to order. Everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced. I would seriously fly down from Phoenix just to eat here. A must... More

We heard about El Pescador from friends and decided to try it. Fish doesn't get any fresher than this. Be prepared for lines and a wait for tables. Seating is communal. They bring your food but there is no other service. Still the fish sandwiches are divine. I'm definitely coming back.

You never know what fish are going to get there. Because what they serve you as what they catch fresh that day. So what you get is really good. I've been there before will always go back.

We just had the yellowtail sandwiches. They were grilled, with lettuce, red cabbage, and dressing. They had us at first bite. They were across the street and the other place was small. Now that they moved, plenty of room, and as always busy. Hard to find good fresh fish like this, not covered with batter, just grilled and tasty. They... More
