It's a small place if you're looking to sit down and eat, but it seems like they're upgrading to a larger spot across the street. Delicious food, but some plates seemed too expensive for the amount we got. We'd definitely go back though.

We visited El Pescador and ate in the restaurant/fish store. The trout was very good, but the side dishes were marginal. Most people come in to buy fish and it looks great. El Pescador is building a real restaurant across the street and I suspect will greatly improve their ambience. One to try again after the move.

I wanted to try local seafood and this was one of the only places I could find it on the menu. I had the yellow tail which is a type of Amber jack fish, and my husband had the thresher shark. Both were incredibly fresh, served in a sandwich and very reasonable. We picked them up and brought them home... More

When we were walking up we noticed people ALL over the place! We looked at the menu and ordered the cajun red snapper sandwich and it was delicious! As others have stated it is a fish market, but so many choices! They stated they could cook up anything in the showcase and there were numerous choices!

No complaints here. Hubby got the Swordfish sandwich - it was absolutely OUTSTANDING. I got the fish taco's -- they used grouper when we were here (I think it changes daily). They were decent, but I truly liked hubby's swordfish sandwich more. We both got the clam chowder & liked it. Got here around 7:20 pm - they close at... More

I think I expected so much more from the reviews....as did my daughter, as we absolutely LOVE fresh seafood. The environment was as to be expected. A fish market. The guy waiting on us....just meh. Seemed to be more worried about getting out of there on a Friday night. We were out of our element and didn't really know what... More

As others have said in their reviews, the place is very small, cramped, and always crowded. But, even at the busiest of times, the food is absolutely worth it. Order your food to go and enjoy every bite in a sunny, quiet place (perhaps even in your car) to forget about the hectic and loud atmosphere inside this excellent restaurant.... More

I had the sea bass salad, a medium combo seafood cocktail and the clam chowder. Everything was fresh and delicious. I wish I lived closer, I would be here everyday!

Found this little gem quite by accident. Located in a tiny mall with limited seating. The entire menu is available for take away. EXCELLENT selection and FRESH. Highly recommended for fellow seafood lovers.

This is a very small restaurant, with a few seats, in what is mostly a fresh fish market. The "atmosphere" is therefore -- by some standards -- non-existent. But the service is top-notch, the fish is fresh and freshly prepared, and the prices are more than reasonable. What fish you can have depends on what fish they have gotten in... More
