A fish market with an outstanding diner. Menu features over 20 different types of fish and seafood. You order at the front, then choose a table. It gets crowded after 6 PM, so come early. The menu features sandwich or a salad or a full dinner for each kind of fish. I had the yellowfin dinner the first night and... More

Just in case you think nothing about my trip to San Diego made me happy, I want to dispel that notion. The food in this place is truly amazing! If you need fancy wine, candlelight and wait persons in tuxedos - then perhaps this is not the place for you. If you want outstanding food at a reasonable price -... More

I usally get my fresh fish, oysters or sandwich to go. The guys behind the counter are nothing but helpful. The quality of the fish is great if not excellent. This past year Pescador moved across the street to a bigger space and now have a cool restaurat atmosphere. The oder is still take at the counter and now there... More

Not only do I love their fresh salads and fresh crab, but the new building is a great improvement over the small cramped across the street and it has a great open, inviting feeling. To the right side is the kitchen and fish market, in the middle are communal tables and along the window are 4-tops, a great way to... More

This is a great place to visit for lunch. I though I never said this, but they have a Yellowtail and Squid Burrito that is to die for!

So they've moved over the road to a huge space. The vibe is very casual, the fish still excellent. These guys keep it simple with the seafood being the main attraction. Swordfish and yellow fin tuna was excellent and the soups are tasty. Also a very reasonable wine and beer choice with a good Pinot Grigio at $6.50, that's more... More

This is a great place to stop for seafood while in La Jolla. The food is simple and good and the staff is very friendly. They've recently built a new restaurant and it has a nice, modern feel. It's also nice to be able to see into the kitchen area. We really enjoyed this restaurant!

Noisy, with 40 kinds of fish on display on ice in the display case. Impossible to get into right at lunch. But a "must visit" in La Jolla if you like fresh fish. You can have your fish as a salad, a sandwich or a taco. We selected local halibut and had it in a sandwich. Our only regret was... More

Food Ok, a little pricy for what you get and service terrible. No organization, workers prefer socializing than doing their job and extremely slow food preparation when only a few customers in restaurant. Pass on this place and go to Point Loma Seafoods or Blue Point.
