Great local seafood market

Shaun has really upgraded this long time market in to a nice dining venue as well. Perfect for a casual dinner or lunch.

The first time we ate here, they were across the street. We love this place because there are so many choices of seafood available. Straight forward cooking where they let the catch be the star of the plate. Specials are on the blackboard and the rest are on a menu. Love the new spot since there is parking and plenty... More

We had been here before when it was across the street. Now it is a large restaurant with more choices. I had the shrimp/fish burrito and it was the best. I could have had lunch and dinner here every day we were in La Jolla.

This is a very busy, family style fish house. The fish here is very fresh and was cooked perfectly. We had the snapper both cajun style and with lemon and capers. My only complaint is they tack on $$ to put anything on your plate besides the fish. This would not be an issue if it was stated on the... More

That is a very cool place. The interior is stylish, the staff is friendly and seems to have smiles on their faces and the fish is really fresh. We got sandwiches with fried Ahi Tuna. It was so delish. Our boy (2y) had a couple of their artisan bread and lox which he loved too. It seems to be a... More

Had dinner here on a recommendation and loved it - the ahi tuna steak sandwiches were superb, the salad fresh. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back when in La Jolla.

My husband and I ate here twice, and we got 5 different menu items total. Some were very good, while others were not. My husband's seared ahi tuna sandwich was probably the best thing we ordered there. Next was probably the El Pescador salad. The shrimp cocktail was good. The crab sandwich was average. The local halibut was very bad... More

We tried this spot at the recommendation of our local vrbo hosts. It was terrific- they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and I had an ample and delicious plate of grilled octopus (probably the best I have ever had), grilled veggies and rice. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was the crowded, noisy... More

One of best seafood menus anywhere in San Diego. Old favorite restaurant in new location. Food is terrific and likewise display. Service - especially at register - can be confused/confusing. Know EXACTLY what you want when you order, and have staff member repeat back to you. Servers friendly but sometimes inexperienced. Space is "close seating" and can be noisy. Generally... More
