We chose this restaurant solely based on the high percentage of likes from a restaurant web site. People were right! The night we ate here, this was a little hole in the wall in an aging strip mall but what we noticed was a beautiful new location set to open within days right across the street. In fact they were... With a long line in front of us, we decided to sit outside. As we exchanged the dishes from one (seafood sandwich) to another (seafood salad), we like each order very very much. The clam chowder is amazingly well matched with New England style, perhaps better.

My boyfriend and I took a month long road trip up the West Coast and El Pescador was by far our favorite food spot! It is a tiny little fish market with extremely fun and helpful employees. I had the Halibut Torta and my boyfriend had the Scallop Torta- they were both delicious!! Melt in your mouth wonderfulness. The bread... More

Started eating their clam chowder in 1990. The recipe hasn't changed nor has the taste. The staff is great. When does the new larger place open? Very smart owner.

My boyfriend and I decided to eat here last minute. The reviews looked great so we wanted to check it out. I had a seabass sandwich and he had a crab sandwich and we shared a cup of cioppino. My sandwich was good but a little bland. My boyfriend agreed that it lacked in flavor and he added sriracha to... More

If I return to a place, this is a good sign. I routinely (2 sometimes 3 times a week) to purchase my fish here. The staff is very friendly and will advise on how to cook and cut the fish for you. Also, they serve food which is always great. The line can be long if they are busy so... More

This small shop serves a great fish taco and even better clam chowder. We did not have a chance to try any of the other dishes, but the fish appears to be very fresh. Definitely give this a try.

When we approached this little hole-in-the-wall, we almost kept going. But when we went in and saw the quality of the seafood displayed in the cases, we decided to stay -- and were so glad we did. It's an order at the counter place with limited seating. We got their El Pescador special, which was a salad with dunganess crab,... More

This is a very small fish market/cafe. The service was good, no complaints there. Plenty of cold filtered water with lemon, free and welcomed on hot days. The portions were gracious with there seafood, very filling. Stopped for lunch with husband and 16 yr old daughter for lunch, as it was recommended by more then 1 local. I had fish... More

12 to 16 may sit inside if lucky, but service is very good and staff very nice. Besides the famous fish-sanduiches there are nice (plastic) dishes too. Next time I'll try a dish. Very worth for a quick lunch or grab and go. Some waiting because it's fresh done.
