Go To Sal's in Selma- one visit was enough to know that paying $5 more per plate than the other family restaurants in town, guarantees nothing. The food was unimaginative, lacking much flavor, and way too expensive. Then a friend made a mistake of ordering a couple of to go items for a small party. I thought the order was... More

I have been eating here for years, the food is always outstanding. The service is good, the servers very cordial and if I want them to change something for my needs or desires, they are happy to do it. This is my favorite Mexican food place to eat, my husband loves eating on the patio too.

Used to be better the previous times we were there. Food is average. Service so so. Nothing to write home about. Three quarters empty even on a Thursday evening. I guess word gets around.

My mom had just passed & everybody was hungry so about 10 of us went to go have lunch we didn't have a reservation & they took us right away. After we were done more of my family came & the waitress accommodated them. They were very helpful & understood what we were going through.

Salazar's Grill and Bar is located in a strip mall next to a K-mart; to clear up any confusion from previous reviews my GPS app measured the distance from the Fairfield Inn at 0.17 miles or about three football fields. On arrival we were greeted at the door, seated promptly by our friendly server and found the ambiance pleasant. Unfortunately... More

Ate the worst meal at Salazar's last night. I ordered the Chili Con Carne Dinner. I have been eating at this family restaurant since it was in a little white shack in Selma CA. The recipe for Chili Con Carne has been horribly altered. The meat is of poor quality and dry with significant fat on it. My plate came... More

We pulled into Kingsburg about 8 pm after driving for several hours. We were tire and hungary and after checking into the Fairfield Inn we asked about restaurants in the area. The desk clerk recommended Salazar's which she said was within walking distance. After starting to walk we decided it was more like a driving distance, so my husband went... More

Had taco salad. The shell was greasy and pretty much burned. The lettuce in the salad was warm and wet. The chicken had not flavor and tasted like it had been boiled. Worst mexican food I have ever ate.
