Pretty Good Food For The Value

The staff is nice and they make the food quick and its hot. The portions for the value is good. Its not San Francisco folks, but its pretty good for the Tahoe Area. They do have 5 tables inside if you don't want to do take out.

The food is greasy and and bland. Service is mostly take out and can be rude. It seems to be family operated and it is not uncommon to hear them argue and shout at each other. I would avoid it unless you're desperate for some greasy chowmein or spring rolls.

This place is rather old and run down. The food is OK but not what we normally consider good Chinese Food.

We used to live in Hongkong, and my daughter-in-law is from China, so we decided to try this restaurant for dinner one night. Never again! The ladies were nice, but they were really slow and unapologetic. At first, we couldn't understand why the service was so slow since we were the only ones in the restaurant, but then we heard... This place has really great food. The decor is bad and there is junk stacked everwhere, but I would go back.

If you want takeout, this food is ok, not great. There are a few dining tables, too.

Since I am from Taiwan, I love authentic Chinese food and their black bean sauce string bean was the best - like home cook meals. There were other dishes I can't remember as we were there 2010. The price was what you would expect in a tourist area. I would definitely go back again when we visit in the future.... More

Authenic Chinese food w/ a lake view. The place is quite homey and not as clean as I would like, but the won ton soup & mu shu pork are quite good. Portions are generous. Some dishes are very good, while others are just okay.

This is an extremely small place...it only has about 5 or 6 tables. Most people probably take the food to go. We enjoy eating in the place...there is an old broken video game in the corner that has been there for years (we first ate here 5 years ago---the game was working then). There is no ambience here---and that is... More

The food is fair, the quantities large and the prices are reasonable. (I'd give it two and a half stars). Stick with the basics and you should be fine. The interiors are not the greatest, but the lady who waited on us was very hospitable, the food was served promptly, Lake Tahoe is just across the street and my son... More
