Good food but pricey

I know food will be more expensive in a vacation spot, but it shouldn't be twice as much. Everything was good but nothing amazing.

Sushi was good, and service was fast! Even amidst all of the Japanese wall paintings and various items, has a very well-lit 'American diner' type of feel. The staff was friendly and sparked conversation, and others around the sushi bar joined in. The restaurant is quite small -- certainly the other couple at the tables was privy to the conversation... We got there a few minutes too late for the sushi bar, but stayed any way. Well worth it. Obviously, it was popular to many. Sushi was fresh, and we had an enjoyable experience.

We sat at the bar for dinner. The bartender was super friendly, service was great. The sushi was good but nothing amazing.

The all you can eat sushi bar is fun and generous, but busy and a bit pricey, as I suppose are most sushi bars.

Great after a day of skiing. Not the best, not the worst, quick service. They have teriyaki for those who aren't sushi fans.

Not the most famous or classiest place we visited during our trip, but probably the freshest food. The all you can eat before 8pm would have been amazing but the a la carte menu was good value and delicious as well. Great seat at the bar chatting to friendly strangers and the excellent chefs prospering food in front of us.... More

We've been driving by this restaurant for years and finally decided to try it out. We were not disappointed! First the staff was very friendly, and educated us about the happy hours going on at the bars. We opted for a table, so we'd have no time pressure. We had the Captain Crunch Roll and tempura plate for appetizers, and... More

Stayed one night in Kings Beach on 2014 road trip to State Parks in western US. After we had checked in at the hotel we walked around the little village and chosed Hiro Sushi for our dinner. We actually had Sashimi and edamer beans. It was very fresh and had a good taste. I can only recommand this very good... More
