Masters of cooking a steak.

This is the place to eat up the river from Kernville. Layed back atmosphere, come as you are and enjoy your steak cooked to perfection. After Road's End burned down, this became the "IT" spot on the river. All accolades are well-deserved.

I am sure this is a isolated incident, but I have to express our visit yesterday anyhow. The greeter was very nice and we were seated quickly despite the fact that we were a bit late for our reservation and they were booked. I assume it was the owner (a tall gentleman) checked on us regularly in the beginning and... More

We didn't actually eat here, just had drinks. The bartender was super as is the bar. I want to go back, rent a cabin and stay for a few days. What a relaxing place to read and swim. BE SURE TO take a walk across the river on their footbridge. This is a lovely spot, an absolutely beautiful setting.

Their hamburgers, while being a bit pricey, I couldn't help, after biting into the burger, yelling out, "eat your heart out Ronald MacDonald". LOL

We went to this place for a steak dinner one night while we were in the area. Mum and I were able to share a meal (with our own sides) for a small surcharge. The meat was cooked nicely and we all enjoyed it. There were lots of cute carvings and things on the wall and the atmosphere was cozy.... More

I've enjoyed fine steak dinners at McNally's since the 60's but this last visit was a real disappointment with the grill person ruining every piece of meat ordered by our party of ten.

I love stoping here at the hamburger stand for an ice cream cone. This place is about 15 miles from Camp James in Kernville. There is also a really cool bridge which you can walk across and get a good view of the river whilst eating your ice cream. If you want a burger or fires the hamburger stand serves... More
