Food was what I expected, service was great. Our waitress seemed happy to be there which is rare these days. Overheard a group of old men talk about fly fishing and once in awhile I would get a whiff of cigarette smoke, but that all helped the pleasent mountain diner experience despite the food.

This little café is practically on the river next door to the lodge. Friendly service, good food and moderate prices. I can't comment on dinner but breakfast was very good and their sausage patties are the best.

We ate breakfast here twice and each time was just perfect. The biscuits were some of the best I've ever had and the service was friendly and efficient. We took advantage of the free wifi so it really was a pleasant experience.

The service is very friendly. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon, which should be fool proof. The bacon was ok, but the scrambled eggs were a texture I haven't seen since my mother last made me eggs, and she cannot cook.
