Doce Lunas is no longer open, which is too bad since the food was very good but the location is a bit difficult. However, another restaurant is moving into its space and is doing some extensive remodeling including putting in an outdoor seating area. The signage says that it will be a "Gastropub" and is called Palooza and is apparently... More

It might be easy to pass this restaurant by. It is located just off Highway 12, the Sonoma Highway, in Kenwood. It is not particularly well marked, and it is in a little shopping area. This means that the Doce Lunas is not always full, and in the three dinners we have eaten there, we have never had to wait... More

Very creative east-west fusion restaurant with a ton of character. Alex, the chef/owner could not have been more attentive!

The staff are wonderful, the owners obviously love what they do! I've had many items off of the menu and this is my favorite go to restaurant, driving from Santa Rosa on a regular basis. Their crab cakes have ruined me for crab cakes anywhere else! I love bringing friends to see my absolute favorite restaurant whenever I can, including... More

The lamb shanks were superb. Only problem was, my husband ordered them and I had something else as the waitress said the lamb shanks contained gluten. I shouldn't have listened, what I ordered was not nearly as good!

I live in Sonoma and had heard about Doce Lunas for years, but didn't get around to trying it until this month. I've eaten lunch twice and dinner once. All visits featured exceptional food. Went with friends all three times, and everyone was pleased with the food. Try the home made potato chips with blue cheese as an appetizer. So... More

I was not heading anywhere specific just driving around wine country, it was lunch time so I put in my phone to search for nearby restaurants & I ended up here. It was fabulous! I sat out on the patio & had a crab cake sandwich & mimosa. The food was so good & so fresh and the atmosphere that... More

We were driving back from Healdsburg and were going to stop at the Paradise Rides winery tasting room on the highway just north of Sonoma. Decided to have lunch first and spotted Doce Lunas next door. Glad we stopped. We have a nice lunch in the outdoor patio. The food and service were excellent. All the produce is locally sourced.... First let me start with this. My wife has bad food allergies, Alex (the owner & Chef) came to our table and sat with my wife and LISTEN to her and was able to give her a beautiful meal! My meal was not too shabby either. Helen (my wife) was made a fantastic filet of fish topped with grilled veggies... More

My fiancé and I were staying in Kenwood for some wine tasting and were advised to check this restaurant out. We were not disappointed with both excellent food and service. It was so good we visited twice in our three night stay. The friendly atmosphere created by the staff is a refreshing contrast to some of the pretension you encounter... More
