The food was very good, wine list is impressive, and breakfast in the morning luxurious to say the least. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating for in-room dining, and servers seemed happy to run back down for forgotten items. The servers are fantastic. However, whenever we called down to the restaurant, we got VM or the front desk. The person at... More

The new owners of what used to be a renowned dining institution seem to think that bowling-alley acoustics and telling you your beef was "ground just this morning" can replace reliably delicious, well-prepared food and ambiance. For many years this restaurant was a go-to spot to take VIP's, to celebrate special occasions, to know you and your guests would consistently... More

Sunday lunch overlooking a field of wildflowers. Peaceful setting. Imaginative menu and friendly service. Grilled artichoke appetizer a knockout but everything was good.

We were invited to celebrate a friends birthday at this lovely Kenwood restaurant & bar. We were delighted to experience the new expanded outdoor area, pond with a bocce ball court. We enjoyed the views and cocktails here while friends arrived during the cocktail hour. It was lovely. The appetizers were fresh grilled apricots which went very nice with champagne.... More

Had lunch there with my husband & a friend for my birthday. I had burger which was good & my husband shared a salad & spring soup with our friend. The soup was very colorful but that's about it... Burger was good though.

I had not visited the Kenwood since its remodel and new ownership. Needless to say, I was disappointed with its plain-Jane $16 hamburger (ordered blood rare, but received well-done). The fries were tasty and not overdone, but there were far too few of them. I would like to laugh, but the burger was the worst I have ever eaten, and... More

We were served a mediocre hamburger, over cooked, which we ate while listening to the yapping of a small dog the establishment allowed a patron to bring in. Won't return............

You can sit on their gorgeous patio with fabulous views of the vineyards, and play bocce ball, while waiting for your freshly butchered lamb ribs, or rabbit sausage. One of the foodiest restaurants in the Valley of the Moon, with one of the best wine lists. Try the chocolate cupcake with marshmallow filling and salted caramel ice cream for dessert.... More

Before its sale the Kenwood was a favorite place to eat in the Sonoma valley. Our visit last night proved to be disappointing. The quality of the food was not up to the very high prices. A roasted artichoke was dry and tasteless - at least we were not charged for it. Halibut ($30) was dry and poorly presented. Wine... More
