Original, organic and orgasmic have been used to describe this local's wine country hidden gem. You have to experience what they offer. Open every day except Tuesdays service from 11:30 a.m. straight through until 9 p.m. Very authentic flavors of Spain considering the Chef/owner is Spanish Basque. You should really attend his Chef's Basque dinner on the second Thursday of every month! Family style the way the Basque restaurants of San Francisco of yesteryear used to serve. 7 courses brought to the table in tureens & platters for all to share. Much from the Chef's organic gardens nearby. Treasures from local farmers, ranchers & fisherpeople. Chef Esteban prepares & presents each course. $45 per person including Chef's homemade wines crafted from his certified organic grapes! Limited seating so reservations are a must!

Spanish Surprise in Sonoma

The Vineyards was a very nice surprise. There were 6 of us spending the day in Sonoma, and we started with a multi-course lunch at the Vineyards. My husband and I agree that the meals (both Mexican fare) we had at Vineyards Inn was the worst food we have ever had at a restaurant. There are so many good and great restaurants in Sonoma County, this is definitely not one of them. Not even mediocre - food is terrible! service was just as bad! And it was... More

The menu has tapas and paella, and lots of other Spanish food that we were not familiar with. It was good, but not great. The service was friendly and attentive, but the energy in the place was low. We went at an odd time - late afternoon - and there were only 2 other parties there. The parking lot is... More

at the food and the service...exeeded my expectations. Having driven by this place many times, i finally stopped. I recommend YOU stop, also. First of all, I liked the menu...many choices, as I like tapas. Secondly, the waitress could not have been better...attentive but not overly so. I had the panitis and the fire shrimp...both were excellent. My friend had... More

We stayed in Kenwood during our visit and Vineyards Inn was conveniently located for us to eat dinner and have a quick commute home. First, Vineyards Inn has a charming feel and look yet not stuffy or fancy. We ate at a tall table in the bar. The menu explains that Vineyards Inn uses as much organic and local products... More

Always enjoy going to Vineyards Inn for dinner. Never disappointed! The menu is partly Basque cuisine. Their Margaritas are fantastic. The view of near by vineyards is beautiful!

Okay food and service was slow. I think you can find a much better place to have a meal in the area but it took the edge off of the sugar high from all of the local wine tastings

Average Mexican food but great margaritas. Selection of food is good, the prices are reasonable and the service is right on top of everything. Very comfortable and appropriate for family dining.

Stopped here on the way to an event... had some time and friends told us they had great margaritas. Nope. Margaritas were very so-so. Didn't have a fresh taste. Alcohol wasn't very strong. Just nothing special. Got some chips and salsa... they mistaken brought us guacamole as well. Yikes. Guac was just a liquidy green with no flavor. Definitely do... More
