Make time to have a meal here.

We spent the entire day hiking near Tioga Pass, and were worn out. It was late on a Sunday, and the bartender kept the kitchen open for us so we could eat a late dinner. He was very accommodating, and the food wasn't bad either!

Nice ambiance in scenic location near running creek. Busy venue yet no burgers available despite listing on menu

This restaurant is one of the best encountered in a 4-day road trip in the Eastern Sierras. The main room is a large, semi A-frame with huge windows that let in the light and the view, with just the right amount of mountain decor. We ordered the smoked trout appetizers (excellent) as well as the tri-tip (well prepared, but perhaps... More

As above, the rooms are nice, clean and decorated with recently made "faux" rustic furniture. Ok no biggie, in 20 years it will be rustic. The rooms are 4 to a building so they are comparitavly small (standard Holidy Inn size. They are made for sleeping, not lounging. The porches are microscopic, made I guess, for one person (two if... This is the main dining facility at the Double Eagle Resort in June Lake. A specialty is home made soups that make one want refills. The lunch menu featured a variety of sandwiches and salads along with the entrees and special offerings. The food was very good and the service was great. This is the kind of place we would... More

This restaurant is inside the Double Eagle Resort and Spa--an absolute gem of June Lake Loop in its own right. We love coming here to spend the afternoon by the pool or enjoying the spa facilities. On this occasion, we were in before the dinner rush so there weren't that many patrons, but our service was still extremely slow. Of... More

As one travels down(or up) US 395 along the Eastern Sierras there are not too many starred restaurants. This is one of them. Be sure to take the June Lake loop and look for the Eagle's Landing Restaurant. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My wife and I were there for lunch. We had heard about this site... More

If you're tired of eating trout and potatoes cooked in foil over a fire, head into The Eagle's Landing. You will enjoy a great meal at a fair price. The chef and the staff take great care to provide some wonderful selections and the service is personal and friendly. You can go back to that cold camp ground with a... More

A small group of us had lunch at the Eagle Landing restaurant this week and it was wonderful. The tri-tip sandwich was outstanding with just a hint of heat in the BBQ sauce and the meat was very tender. The salmon sandwich was also excellent. Our waiter Art was very prompt, informative and friendly. The woodwork in/out of the restaurant... More
