I used to go in here all the time when Margie owned the restaurant and Tina her daughter either cooked or served. Both of them are a hoot. Their food was fantastic, as this is not their first rodeo, if you know what i mean. The service is casual and usually very fun. Well, Margie sold it to some people... More

Don't go in you will regret it. Service was bad, Food was bad. Two drink max. The owners seemed like they didn't care. They were out of over half the food on the menu. The waiter was clueless. Took us over 45 min. to get food and the place was empty.

First we came in and sat down. We waited about 10 mintues and then got ourselves some menus. We then waited another 20 minutes to order while the Owner ran around telling people just to wait and that she would be there ASAP but no promises. At this time I was ready to get up and leave but I didn't... More

Our soft drinks arrived quickly but it went downhill from there! We were told that there were no chips and the offer to provide them when they became available was not made. Fifteen minutes later an adjacent table was offered chips. We requested them at this time and we still never got them (thank goodness). Forty minutes into our wait... More

We stopped in there because we liked the outdoor seating and a good margarita. The Cadillac margarita has a bubble gum like taste to it. For a Cadillac and at $9.75 each it was bad!! The FOOD WAS WORSE! The worst mexican food I have ever had!! HORRID!!! And it took an hour to get!! I kid you not! The... More

It wasn't busy (only a handfull of people there) but it still took our family of 4 40 mins to start getting our food. It trickled out with about 10 minutes between each plate. The owner even made a joke, "Nothing like eating piece meal." haha (not funny). My food came out last and it was wrong. I'd ordered a... More

Singularly the worst experience we have ever had in Julian. I don't know how they stay in business! My husband and I were driving through town and thought we would pick up something quick to eat. We waited an HOUR for burger & fries , which were inedible! The fries were burned & black on the outside and soggy inside... More

This restaurant used to be terrific, but under the new ownership, and even more recently the new cooks, it has really gone downhill. WAY downhill. Sad, because it used to be good. Last time I went the grated cheese was moldy, and not just a little. That was the last straw and the final evidence I needed to realize that... More

Well I read the reviews but have to disagree. The place changed owners so I'm not sure that is the issue but I had a different experience. I have family in Julian so we are there quite a bit but this was the first time trying this restaurant. I had a carne asada taco and a fish taco and both... More

This place looks really cute from the outside. The charm stops there. We sat on the patio and waited a long time for service, even though the place was not crowded. The waitress showed up one time, then the bus boy took over our service! We had to ask for water and chips and salsa twice before they were delivered.... More
