I ordered the pulled pork. It was tasty but needed more barbecue sauce. The fries were good. Apple pie was excellent. Service was good. Julian was very quiet on a weekday in summer. Not all of the shops were open.

The fried dill pickles were not very good. My salad was large but not as good as most places. The food server was friendly and attentive.

Tourists visit here due to location... Not the best in Julian. Plain Jane and not consistent in taste.

This place has great hamburgers! Every time I am in Julian, I swing by and get a burger here. Their chicken livers are good too.

The restaurant is spacious and the service warm and friendly. The food is good old fashioned comfort food. I love their coffee. My daughter loves their tater skins.

Quick Day trip to Julian led us to this restaurant. The pulled pork sandwich was great, the cole slaw a little less so. Service was pleasant.

We happened to visit on a weekday in mid-September, and not much was going on in town. But finding this restaurant on a little side street was a pleasant experience. The western décor fit the town, as well as the menu options.

Six of us arrived here on a road trip. We were hungry and looking for good food. The portions are large and the inhouse BBQ sauce is great.

Drove my cousin and mother up to Julian for a Sunday excursion. Stopped at Rongbranch for lunch. Cousin and I ordered red beans and rice which comes with grilled hot link and crackers. Mom ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was all good. Dolores was our server and is a very good marketer for the restaurant. Very good at... More

Wanted something different but we didn't find it here. The food was okay and the service was very good, just not really what I wanted. Menu selections were fair and priced the same as other restaurants in a tourist town.
