Can't go to Julian without stopping here!

We always make a point to have lunch here when visiting. The tough part is getting in. Plan ahead and make a reservation several days in advance or you may miss out. During Apple Days (Sept - Oct) it is hard to just walk in anywhere. In spring you have a better change. I recommend their pumpkin... read more

My friends and I came to town and looked up places to try and thought - perfect! We decided on "The Cottage Classic" ($24.95). It comes with a cup of pumpkin soup (not vegetarian) with cheese savory, 5 finger sandwiches, scone with whipped cream, homemade lemon curd and jam, dessert and tea. Do ask about the soup, it is NOT... More

When I was researching a day trip to Julian, Ca., I was totally surprised that they had a Tea Room there, I just had to make reservations. I'm so glad I did. :) We like to think we are aficionados of Afternoon Tea (being Brits and all) So, at first I was a little disappointed that we were not going... More

Everything tea --and more! Unending assortment of teas--both loose and bags. They even had our No. 1 Ladies Detective Tea (from the well-known book series). Their card selection is a bit different from the norm, as well as a very extensive collection of various kitchen tools and accessories. The tea cottage is an excellent source for that gift for someone... More

My daughter & I made a reservation for afternoon tea and ended up the only ones in the tea shop! It was a Monday afternoon and it was wonderful. The staff/server were all so friendly and the food was wonderful! And the tea....oh my! They had the largest tea selection to purchase I've ever seen!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome. Tea, cookies, and egg salad sandwich were very good. Will be back.

This little shop is fantastic! Stop by for a "tea party." While the downstairs area is devoted to teas (there's one room FULL of all sorts of teas) and all things related to tea, the upstairs has all sorts of cool gadgets and fun stuff that might make the biggest kitchen haters want to go in and play in the... My partner and I had a terrific tea here Sunday, July 6th. Their tea room is so cute and one of the tiniest I have ever seen. There are four tables. Four! One table that seats 4 (or perhaps 6) and three smaller tables that seat 2 or 3 each. That's it. It's a wonderful little tea room, light, airy,... More

I thought the shop was really cute and there was so much merchandise to look at, it kept me occupied for a while. Definitely one for the girls. There was a wide selection of teas to choose from and me and my date had a lovely cuppa. We didn't get to eat any of the food although the menu looked... More

Talk about a plethora of tea accessories and tea and aprons and towels and whoa, Nellie! Loved it. The owner brewed us cups of tea while we roamed. I found a ton of things I would have bought if I were in a spending mood. I'll go back and spend, as we approach the holidays.
