You can either walk up to the pie order window if in a hurry, or enter their warm inviting establishment for a hospitable meal, and of course their famous apple pie. We rolled into town after dark, but found the light in their windows to be a yummy beacon luring us in. So glad we made it before closing time.... More

My husband and I shared a slice of caramel apple pie ala Mode and a peanut butter cookie and it was like heaven! We normally don't eat bad, but this was worth the indulgence! You can't go to Julian without experiencing pie from Julian Pie Company…and you can't have apple pie without experiencing it with ice cream! They offered other... More

This is a quaint little town with tons of charm We make an annual motorcycle run to stock up on fthe amazing pies made with the recent harvest. Well worth the out of the way drive for the day. October 2011.

It was a nice place with some local colour but nothing real special. The kids loved the burgers, place was packed. The boot glasses were a nice touch.

If you grew up eating apple pie made the old fashioned way by previous generations, this will be a slice of childhood for you. And if not, it's still the best apple pie you will ever eat. This is a MUST when you're in Julian. And even if you're not in Julian, when you visit San Diego, it's worth the... More

While in Julian, we were highly recommended to visit Julian Pie Co specifically. We were far from disappointed. We had the naturally sweetened Dutch apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. Both tasted perfect. They have tens of other flavors. They sell by slice and by pie. They also sell frozen pies that you can carry back home and wow your... More

Attended a wedding in Julian and was told I had to try the pie, I did, I wept with happiness, I visited the gym the next day to make myself feel better about eating most of the pie!

While in Julian, your gonna have 2 choices for pie; Mother's or The Julian Apple Pie Company. Go with the Julian pie. Mother's has a cute shop where you can watch them make pies through the window and get a slice. But the Julian pie is better, maybe because it's sweeter? Whatever the case, it's the better pie.

Buy a slice & then take home a whole pie. Your friends and family will want one, too. This place has perfected the apple pie, so why not share?

We came here after going to Mom's and had a not so pleasant experience. We are glad we did. They opened at 0900 on a Monday. We got a dutch apple pie to take home for my husband's birthday. We also got two apple donuts. All very good. Our friends enjoy the apple pie. I will definitely come back here... More
