Simply the best Apple Pie!

Wow! Of all the apples in all the pie joints in all the towns in all the world, this place has the best! I tried the caramel pecan apple pie, and I simply cannot say enough about the flaky crust, not-too-sweet apple yumminess, and the toasty, crunchy pecans rounding out the delicate cinnamon and... read more

Decided to stop for a mid day snack and decided on the pie. Wow this is some of the best store bought pie I've ever had. The boysenberry and apple pies were delicious! They also have gluten free and sugar free selections for those with special diet considerations. In addition they have soup, sandwiches, wraps, and salads available for those... More

This is the ONLY place in Julian with Gluten free pies, not bad! Good vibe, nice outdoor side yard and some indoor seating. Only downside is that the gluten free pies are frozen, but tasted excellent! Gluten free sandwiches etc as well - well done!

My Brother and I take a day trip to Julian every once in a while and we will always stop at Apple Alley and have their soup and Sandwich combo. For the price of what you get, a half of sandwich(your choice of sandwich) soup, chips a pickle and a great slice of pie(your choice) with or without ice cream. It's... More

We ordered the Lunch Special which included sandwich, chips, and pie. My wife and I both ordered the Apple Caramel Pecan pie. The restaurant was quaint, the pie was wonderful, but the restroom is across the street, behind a building, at public pay toilets, which somehow annoyed me. Next time we will just order a whole pie to go.

Lunch was a half sandwich, soup or salad, and a slice of pie for $9.95. It was Great. The sandwich was packed with meat, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard & onion if desired. I had the salad which was crisp, fresh and cold. Another of our group said the soup was excellent. The pie slice was good size and delicious. There... More

You will see lines of people across the street at Moms Apple Pie which does a good job but whose popularity is to some extent because of its Main Street Location and window watching pies being made--Walk across the street to Apple Alley and I believe you will have the Best Pies that Julian has to offer! I bet I... More

I had a gluten free, dairy free apple pie that was amazing and also a gfdf turkey sandwich. Everything was tasty, and it was wonderful being able to eat next to my wheat eating family and friends.

We heard about this restaurant on Trip advisor and visited after the Eagle mine tour. We both had the half sandwich, salad, and pie special. At only $10 it's quite the bargain and really delicious. My husband absolutely loved the boysenberry apple pie. We'll visit again.
