Then read these reviews. What gives? So many of the food places in Joshua Tree have these outrageous accolades, yet the food is so ridiculously ubiquitous, so overpriced, so thoughtlessly presented with nary a garnish insight. A wrap with turkey and cheese is presented as though it is so special, you begin to believe it might be. Maybe they smoke... More

This place is a cute little dark hole with neat old vintage clothing all about. I liked it, it made me feel like I was in a Grandmother's little shack. I honestly can't remember how I liked the food...

I went for coffee...and had to buy the souvenier cup. I loved it that much! The place and employee (Sarah i believe) was warm and comfy. A very nice place to enjoy coffee use the wifi and chat with a couple of locals.

I liked this place a lot in theory. But my granola bar, which was $5.50 was great but not so incredible to warrant such a price tag. Very nice staff. Decent wine selection. Overall, not bad at all, but I really preferred the Natural Sister Cafe across the street. I did not try the coffee but heard it is quite... More

This place is run by very caring people who make amazing food. Service is great but slow so don't come here when you are in a rush.

This is close to perfect. More like being in a good friend's kitchen. Cosy, hip, fun and of course, good food and good coffee. The locals come in, serve themselves coffee and leave their money at the register. In fact, if the server/chef is busy, a local might pour your coffee, too. Locals talk to tourists, tourists talk to locals.... More

I was on my way from the Mojave National Nature Preserve to Joshua Tree National Park when I stopped at Ricochet for some breakfast. It is a tiny little cafe with great food and coffee. I had the breakfast wrap and a date shake--both were really good. The service was fabulous. They really care about their customers. Joshua Tree seems... More

After a great breakfast at the Crossroads Cafe we called in at Ricochet to see if they had some granola bars or something we could take in for our hike in the Joshua Tree Park. We almost walked out since we didn't see any boxes of granola bars but I thought I would ask. The young man said they made... More

This was the second visit to Joshua Tree this year and I could not wait to get more of their coffee. We also enjoyed the food, excellent breakfast and tamales. Oh, and do not forget to have a Date Milkshake. People are very friendly here also.
