We stopped here on our way into the Joshua Tree National Park during our visit to the States in April of this year. It's right next to the ranger station and just about the last cafe before entering the park. We were hungry and since we had just been to the ranger to station to pick up our daughter's junior... The cafe Americanos were great and the breakfast sandwiches were even better! In fact, I'm craving another one--I had the Black Forest ham & Swiss. The woman who runs the cafe is really friendly and a great resource about the area. Don't miss this place and Pie for the People across the street--two excellent finds in this small desert town.

This cafe is next to the Park Visitor's center - I thought I'd look at my photos over a cup of coffee. Very disappointed! I ordered a single cappuccino and they gave me a to-go cup that was about 1/3 full or foam! The price was upwards of $3 and the coffee was just so-so. I didn't feel like it... More

Is there new ownership of this establishment? I'd been here two years ago for food to take with us and found it quite adequate, with pleasant service. This time, in early April 2014, the cashier/order-taker was brusque, rude, and sharp. First and outrageously, she filled in a tip for herself on a credit card slip that the previous customer had... This cafe is right next to the visitor center making it convenient to pack for a picnic. We'd their vegetarian sandwich, lentil soup and iced mocha. Their iced mocha is one of the best I've had. Didn't like the soup much but sandwich was good. The service was excellent. We did a togo so that we can have a nice... More

I came in late with a friend. Almost closing time. We were served as if we were first customers. Fresh quiches, delicious espresso's and while staff was cleaning the restaurant, we were allowed to sit in the back and could eat, drink and watch the sunset in the 'staff only' seatings .... Amazing ...

We had eggplant Parmesan, iced tea, cappuccino, salad, apple maple muffin. It was all excellent. Homemade sauce, breaded fried eggplant cutlets-could have uses a little more seasoning in the crumb, but all and all, this was such a treat. When food is fresh and thoughtfully prepared you don't mind paying a little extra and this is our experience of a... More

Amazing little spot in Joshua tree. The cafe offers a military discount and also supports local businesses and farmers. Food and customer service is incredible!

Next to the Joshua Tree Visitor Center on Highway 62 and Park Blvd. Clean little cafe with indoor and outdoor sitting. The menu includes hot and cold sandwiches, soups, smoothies... Some vegetarian options. Tip: buy a boxed lunch; for about $11 it includes a sandwich, chips, cookie or fresh fruit, and a drink.
