Woods Creek Cafe truly is the "King of Jamestown/Sonora breakfast" joints. It has something for everyone and daily specials that make your breakfast-lovers brain explode. Can you say orange marmalade French toast? Wow! I am a huge breakfast groupie, but I usually go for the healthy egg options like a Denver omelet. Not this time; I was too tempted by... More

Our group had chosen this cafe for it's Trip Advisor reviews. Knowing there would be a wait, thankfully we were prepared. A definite locals favorite. A long wait, but the food and service was good. It is a very small restaurant with an abundance of cow decor. Not to pricey, but CASH ONLY. The chicken fried steak was delicious and... More

From the outside I thought "doesn't look good" (My apologies to the to the owners). But once I walked through the entry doors I experienced an immediate about face. Homey decor, wonderful aromas. And then the service and food were absolutely divine. Get there early if you have a limited time frame. Otherwise, meet new folks and relax.

Best place in town to stop in. Excellent selection of menu items. Very good service. All of the wait staff is very attentive. Come in before 9:45am or else you'll be waiting at least 20-30 minutes for a table. They only have 13 tables and only a few seat more than 4. Next time I'll be stopping in to try... More

You couldn't ask for anything better. Everything I've eaten has been very good. The atmosphere is homey. Bring a protein bar, someone to visit with or something you play games on. It's well worth the wait.

Just passing through town on our way home from an appointment in Sonora and decided to stop in for a late breakfast around 11am. We were greeted before the door closed behind us and offered to take a seat anywhere we liked. We were followed to our seats of choice, given menus, offered coffee / water and asked if we... More

We eat here often and think it is the best place to eat breakfast. The food is wonderful. Service is tops. The owner is there to seat you and makes sure you are satisfied with your meal. The restaurant is very clean and you may want to sit so you can see the birds feeding outside the windows in the... More

We were locked out of Yosemite, so we took the children to Railtown State Park, lunch here and on to Columbia State Park. We had a great lunch! The children loved the rocking horses while waiting for the table and the tin of small cars while waiting for the meal. The staff went out of their way to talk with... More
