The atmosphere and service are always a joy to experience, with a collection of black and white cows of every imaginable kind of interpretation. The food has never been a disappointment with a large selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from.

We tried Woods Creek after it was recommended by the staff at The Gunn house in Sonora and they were right, delicious. All the egg dishes were outstanding, the only downside, they no longer make their own biscuits and the ones they have were not flakey and felt heavy on the stomach. But, that was a minor fault. All in... More

The reviews for this place were so strong that we had to try it. How much better can breakfast be than other good places? The reviews were spot on. We nearly all had the special potato dish with eggs, pancakes, etc. The potatoes were the special part of the plate and were great. But the pancakes deserve special mention as... More

If you are hungry for good old fashioned food. then this is the place for you. All American food at a decent price. They sell Manzanita jelly and other food items as well. Say "Hello to Drew as she is the owner and just might be cooking that day. Her daughter also cooks. The wait staff has served customers there... More

This is the place we go for breakfast all the time. The food is homemade. The recipes for pancakes, breakfast sweet treats, desserts, etc. are crazy good. The portions are huge. The wait staff are ALWAYS friendly and always remember what you like before you ask. This is the place to go for breakfast and lunch. Get there early or... More

We had read the reviews on this delightful little cafe before we left home, and when our hotel breakfast didn't turn out to be as advertised we seized the opportunity. Staff were so friendly, obviously a popular place with all of the locals, so everyone knows everyone - so great atmosphere. We decided to have the fried eggs and home,... More

This year was our 6th Annual Motorcycle Run to Yosemite. Upon arriving at Woods Creek Cafe, they had our table for 16 all set and we were ready to eat! The staff was fantastic and the food was delicious! All the food came fast and Hot! Everything was soooo good! From the Chicken Fried steak & eggs, pork chops and... More

After our departure from our hotel in Sonora we stopped here for late breakfast before heading North. We woke up late and missed the continental breakfast at the hotel which ended at 9am. When we walked in to Woods Creek Cafe we were greeted very warmly and they obviously know we were "tourists". We had a 5 minute wait which... More

If you need a good rustic breakfast for a busy day, this is your place to go. But come early as the place can get crowded with locals and tourists alike. Our omelets were good in taste and in size. Service started a bit slow (too early?) but later got better. When you are not busy eating or drinking take... More
