I love good biscuits and gravy, Woods Creek cafe did not disappoint. We had the breakfast sampler #1, yes, the biscuit and sausage gravy were excellent, but the pleasant surprise was the ranch potatoes, which also tasted great. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned, my wife does not usually like potatoes but she loved these. The service was great, my... More

The food was superior. There is a wide variety of things on the menu. Everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, fresh, and fast. The biscuit and gravy was outstanding, with a light fluffy biscuit and flavorful gravy. The bacon was terrific. I had a bite of my husband's Belgian waffle and it was delicious. The service is very friendly... More

Wood's Creek Cafe is our MUST stop on our 5th Annual Motorcycle Ride to Yosemite. I called ahead and when we arrived, the table was set for our party of 20! The food and service is FANTASTIC! Fast and delicious!!! The service is the BEST!!! They had our name on the board for our return trip on Sunday when we... More

OK...Woods Creek Cafe is one of our favorite places. We have to work to get there because we live about 60 miles away! But where can you get a good sized sourdough bread bowl filled with eggs, meat, covered in sausage gravy and melted cheese? for under $10? This is serious breakfast food. The food is good but the ambience... More

I tried a special breakfast plate that was a Mexican dish. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. On another trip I tried a hot beef sandwich but I was not a fan of it. I usually eat there for breakfast and I think I will stick to the breakfast menu!

Woods Creek Cafe truly is the "King of Jamestown/Sonora breakfast" joints. It has something for everyone and daily specials that make your breakfast-lovers brain explode. Can you say orange marmalade French toast? Wow! I am a huge breakfast groupie, but I usually go for the healthy egg options like a Denver omelet. Not this time; I was too tempted by... More

Our group had chosen this cafe for it's Trip Advisor reviews. Knowing there would be a wait, thankfully we were prepared. A definite locals favorite. A long wait, but the food and service was good. It is a very small restaurant with an abundance of cow decor. Not to pricey, but CASH ONLY. The chicken fried steak was delicious and... More

From the outside I thought "doesn't look good" (My apologies to the to the owners). But once I walked through the entry doors I experienced an immediate about face. Homey decor, wonderful aromas. And then the service and food were absolutely divine. Get there early if you have a limited time frame. Otherwise, meet new folks and relax.

Best place in town to stop in. Excellent selection of menu items. Very good service. All of the wait staff is very attentive. Come in before 9:45am or else you'll be waiting at least 20-30 minutes for a table. They only have 13 tables and only a few seat more than 4. Next time I'll be stopping in to try... More
