We were staying at the Jamestown Hotel, sitting on the balcony watching the steady stream of customers across the street at Morelia's Mexican Restaurant. Now being from San Jose I was quite skeptical of the single mexican restaurant in a one street town. The deciding factor was not only the tourists entering to dine in, but it was the obvious... More

We are in a one night stopover in Jamestown during our road trip in California. Had a fantastic meal here with my husband and two kids. Everything was great from the margarita to the chips and salsa to eat whilst deciding what to eat form the extensive menu, to our mains which were huge and delicious. The kids wanted to... More

Very good service - food was good, plenty of it and very reasonable. We had tostadas and enchiladas.

The service was fast and pleasant, but the food was uninspired. The chips were greasy, the salsa nondescript. The taco salad was full of iceberg lettuce and heavy with cheese and sour cream. What's with refried beans in a salad?

This Mexican place is amazing - the menu has a huge selection, great choice of Mexican beers and the staff and service is ace. Portions are nice and big, and the setting is really quaint. The salsa and tortillas they bring to your table to start with are delicious!

We spent a night in Jamestown on our way to another city and had dinner here. It was pretty good. Nothing special but the staff was very nice and attentive, and food was good. The rice and beans were great. We really liked the chips but the salsa was just OK. The food was reasonably priced and it was more... More

Four of us had great meals here. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, all the food was good and plenty of it (in fact I couldn't finish my quesadilla) and the service was excellent. There is a good choice of bottled beers. It was excellent value too. We had a very pleasant evening here during our brief stay in Jamestown.

The food here is excellent and very reasonably priced. Hubby enjoyed a burrito, while I had 2 chicken flautas wrapped in corn tortillas; both meals served with a salad, rice and beans... truly delicious. Warmed tortilla chips with fresh salsa arrived as we took our seats and the waitress quickly changed them out to corn tortilla chips when I expressed... More

We love to eat here on Sundays after Prayer. Everything we've eaten has been very good. This is another homey place.
