Clean, good food , and servers are friendly, It's nothing fancy but food is always good. Shakes are really good !! Looks to be a place that has lots of regulars

We got there an hour before closing, only place left open and were served like it wasn't the end of their shift. The food was great I had a New York steak with blue cheese crumbles, A Blue New York, delish. My husband had a cheeseburger my grandson had grilled cheese and I can't remember what my son had. It... We stopped on the road to eat here, unfortunately. Killed over 1 1/2 hours of our time. There is something wrong when the waiter cones to you and brings the drinks and then you have to wait over 30 minutes to get your food. When you look around you see people just sitting with no food we should have got... More

Classic 50s diner still operated by family. The bar is fun too. Live music on many weekends. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is always good. Somewhat crowded and often there is a wait, but it is worth it. Even their banquets are usually pretty good.

Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Servers are friendly and the place is always packed. Taco Tuesdays are the best. Ask for the green sauce.

The Hostess moved two of us 3 times, at our request, at lunchtime, for the perfect booth to surprize our friend. We took our own ice cream cake in, and they OFFERED to put it in the freezer to stay cold. After our meal, we signaled to them that it was time, and they brought it out, with a candle,... More

We were there at 4:30 Halloween afternoon, 7 other tables were there. We received our drinks quickly but waited for about 20 minutes before someone came to take our order, we were just about ready to leave. The food was ok but pricey for what we got. The salad bar wasn't great. We are local but won't be back soon.

Was staying at Jackson Rancheria at the rv park and wanted to go into Jackson for a meal. We were traveling with our small dog so we were looking for dog friendly restaurant. We noticed Mel's had outdoor dining so we thought we would give it a try! Patio area was very clean and shady and our pooch was allowed... More

We don't have a lot of food options in our county. I was excited to see that this place was rated very highly in the local paper. I was so disappointed when I took the friend there for breakfast. I couldn't understand how the place was so packed and yes the food was so bad. Breakfast is an easy thing... More
