I went to UCSB 2004-2008 and miss Woodstock's pizza more than anything in IV. I traveled to New Haven for graduate school after, which is known to have the "best pizza." I just miss Woodstock's, riding my bike balancing a small BBQ chicken and apple gooey deliciousness.

Good thing they have fast wifi. I can leave a review while I'm waiting for my pizza. It's been around 50 minutes, and it's a slow night. About to ask for my money back.

Isla Vista is a pure (small) college town. During the summer tourists typically come through the small downtown area. Every restaurant in "IV" has a college feel to it and there are a few other pizza joints. Woodstocks is chain pizzeria in the Central Coast area, but they each offer good pizza and a decent selection of craft brews. Despite... More

We were walking around IV, and since the places my husband remembered were gone, we risked Woodstock. Turned out to be a lucky choice. The sauce was very good, seasoned well, not the usual chain glop and the crust was also good. We had plain cheese, were very pleased.

My boyfriend and I were up in the area for the weekend and trying to find a good place for lunch. I was looking on UrbanSpoon and found and mexican food place, Freebirds, that sounded pretty good. When we got into the area we noticed Woodstocks and were much more tempted to stop by there instead. So we went for... More

This is not Domino's. The dough is from scratch, and these pizza's are are hand-tossed and made to order using fresh ingredients. So this takes some time. But it's well worth it. We had a specialty Cheese, Pepperoni, Sausage, Fresh Mushroom, Green Pepper and Jalapeno pizza with pitchers of Firestone DBA. The crust was crisp and nicely browned and the... More

I've been to Woodstocks 3 or 4 times. It's really good pizza and they have vegan options. The dessert pizzas are apparently amazing, although I haven't tried them (they're not vegan). Big downside is that they are always SO SLOW to make the pizzas. Unless you have 45 minutes to kill waiting for your pizza, best to call ahead or... More

If you can stand being in IV, it's a really good pizza.

Salads are excellent, as are the pizzas. Probably the best selection of draft beers in IV.
