My friends wanted to give me a special birthday dinner and we all remembered Gullivers from our youth. This is the last Gullivers standing. Our prime rib dinner included the famous creamed corn as well as the Yorkshire pudding and spinach souffle. Ah, great memories...I love the British atmosphere and the friendly, expert service. We were not rushed. They reseated... More

I had just flown back into town after my first automobile photography book signing for my publication called "Chiclet's Season," and we were looking for a nice place to celebrate. I was told this quaint little spot across from the John Wayne Airport was a legend in these parts for a perfect night on the town, and I have to... More

Ok I get the idea that Gulliver's is trying to keep its 18th century ambiance, but this place really needs to brighten up a little bit. Its so dull in here. we were seated in the area behind the bar by the fireplace (no it doesnt work). It was nice and quiet but the chairs and table were all old.... More

The food is average however the location is helpful for meetings close to the airport and the service is good.

One of my favorite prime rib restaurants. Great creamed corn. Spinach ok. Ask for the hot horseradish as their creamed one is too mild and tasteless.scones not as good as at Five Crowns. Service very good.

Our family went to Gulliver's for Father's day. We were seated in Rochelle's section. Sadly, I can't even remember the food because the service was shockingly bad. Our server, Rochelle, was seemingly polite to us but as soon as she would walk way she would be shouting "hey buddy" to other servers which was out of place and very disruptive... More

We came for a quick lunch & had the steak salad. Service was good. Salad was good. A bit pricey for 2 salads & 2 waters so the value isn't good enough to make it 5 star, but I'd be in to try something else.

Quantity and quality are reasonable expectations with the star of the show, prime rib starting at $22 lunch and $32 dinner. Indeed, quantity is ample for the star and its sidekicks at dinner, creamed corn & Yorkshire pudding. Quality though, remains more of a crapshoot, with flavor and tenderness of the star varying from seductive to downright boring. IMHO sometimes... More

Gullivers is back at its peak! The food has always been excellent, but for a while the service was awful. New owners took over and it is once again outstanding! The old English setting is cozy, the prime rib can't be beat and the service is fast and friendly. We have loved this place for 40 years.
