We have loved Veggie Grill for years, even before we became vegetarians. I love Papa's Portobello and sweet potato fries, and my hubby's go-to is the Thai Chikn Salad. I wish they would open a Newport Beach location!

Ok, so it looks like a Carls Jr inside, but it's far from it. You order at the counter and there are menuboards. But your great tasting fresh food is cooked to order and comes on a real plate. I'm not a vegan or even a vegetarian, so I stick to the real vegetable items on the menu intead of... More

My sister was the one who suggested that we eat at Veggie Grill because she always enjoys trying something new (she's from LA so she knows other Veggie Grill locations and got me to try it). I ordered one of the burgers because that's my go to when I enter a new restaurant and I was pretty pleased with how... More

If you are a fan of orange "chicken" you must try crispy cauliflower. It is a starter but order and enjoy as entree. Street corn is good too as is "chicken" tortilla soup. Most things here are tasty.

Wish there were more places like this for those wanting good vegetarian/vegan food. The servings are decent size and the large menu has lots of delicious items to choose from. We liked most of what we ordered, although no one in our group liked the Harvest Bowl, which was a new item. It just was not flavored well at all.... More

I guess it's the trend now. Like Pieology, you pick the ingredients and they cook it. I love this place. Nice, clean, trendy restaurant with plenty of seats and great service. The food is excellent too.

We went there for an early dinner. I ordered Santa Fe chicken burger with a side of onion rings on the recommendation of one of the staff who spotted us and was prompt to help. My husband wasn't hungry and just had mac-n-cheese and lemonade. The place is contemporary and has really nice outside seating. We loved the setting and... More

We live around the corner from the UCI Center Veggie Grill. We love the buffalo wings and the buffalo wings salad. My husband, who hates 'healthy food' even likes the nachos! The staff is very courteous and they are open later than many restaurants in OC.

The Baja Fiesta salad is THE best. Their soups and chili have great flavor. They have done amazing things with making no-meat chicken and burgers. That said, if you get soup or chili or salad or yummy sweet potato fries to GO, the portions seems much smaller than what I got staying there. The inside during lunch rush is NOISY... More

THis place is full of idio-syncracies and I had one heck of a roller coaster experience. I walk in and am greeted by a large menu full of meats. A very helpfull waitstaff came by and was very enthusiastic and genuinally wanted to help me select my perfect order. She did, and all was well. Then, 35 minutes went by... More
