It's not about the food.

Vladimir's is not a place you go for the food. I'm sorry, the food was not up to par with what we like at all. Pretty much inedible. Even old country standards would shun this place. Sorry.

I've been going to Vladimir's many years, but had not been in quite a while. I'm so glad the daughter of the original owner has continued the tradition of wonderful food in a charming setting. It's just a great experience, so do stop in.

Food is below average, NOT authentic, portions small and overpriced. Also credit cards are not accepted. The only positive experience was the beer (Pilsner Urquell), which was very good. I remember visiting this place about 10 years ago and and food was much better. Paprikash was not tasty (not typical czech food anyway, try hungary), dumplings far from authentic and... More

Truly a landmark restaurant and bar in Inverness on the Pt. Reyes peninsula. I've been coming here off and on since the late 70's and not a lot changes except that Vladimir has now passed on. Best time to come is in the winter when it's raining outside and the fire is warm inside. Oh and great east European food!

Back in the day, when Vlad was running things, dining was always full of the unexpected. Mostly it was pleasurable, unique, tasty & never to be forgotten. Sadly, he has passed on and I'm pretty sure a lot of the flavors went with him. Server/Owner? was quite accommodating to our party of 7 ... it was late afternoon and we... More

The service was excellent and the food was mostly good. The split peas soup, salad, and roasted duck with a plum sauce were all good. The Vienna Schnitzel was average. The red cabbage was tougher than we have had elsewhere (seemed like it was under-cooked), but that may be the proper Czech way of cooking it- I am not sure.... More

It wasn't horrible but the Goulash was a bit dry. Staff was friendly but the place needs a good cleaning. I would make the drive to Point Reyes Station... Remember: no credit cards!
