Good food, short walk.

Good things: good food, fish tacos were great, food was reasonably priced, it was within walking distance from motel 6 and best western. Bad things: no windows made it look like a dungeon inside, wait time was a little slow. Summary: it was an average ok Mexican joint.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food in large quantities for an excellent price! Family atmosphere, fast and friendly service. Within easy walking distance of four hotels (Motel 6, Best Western Suites, La Quinta, Wingate by Wyndham). The lunch specials are excellent and cost only $7.25. In my four days in LA I ate here three times for lunch, having the fish tacos,... More

Do not be discouraged by the exterior. My wife and I enjoyed a very good meal at this restaurant and the interior is quite clean and comfortable. The front of the restaurant is a bar and may be a bit rowdy from airline and airport workers coming off shift but you will be rewarded by a very good menu and... More

I was staying nearby so walked over to Casa Gamino for dinner. I was seated in one of the dining areas so had a nice view of this old restaurant. The service was pretty good. I seemed to be served by a couple of people so wasn't sure who exactly was my waiter but all in all they did a... More

From the outside you won't believe what's inside. The food here is great and service fine. Give it a try.

This is a family owned and operated restaurant on Century Boulevard just east of the 405 that serves up huge portions of terrific, authentic Mexican food at extremely reasonable prices! And their Margaritas are delicous (and strong)! Two people can have an outstanding meal with drinks for $40 - very tough to do anywhere in LA!

Best Mexican food we've ever had. Had the enchilada and the chimichanga, shared our meals and they both were fabulous! We will be back next time we are in LA

We were staying close to the airport the night before our flight home. We wanted Mexican and this place was great. The service was wonderful, nice people, prompt service, and parking on the side of the restaurant. it is a very local, casual, little bit of a dive type restaurant. Loved the fajitas and brisket. Don't settle for airport hotel... More
