My wife and I joined 3 other couples for dinner @ Bistro last night. Two of the couples had been there before and had raved about the Kobe beef cheeseburger, but we were looking for something more upscale. We all ordered drinks and starters and after some delay the drinks were served. Some time later, our friends were given their... More

I've been to this resort several times, and their restaurants never cease to amaze. The food offerings, presentation and friendly service at their Bistro venue are top drawer in a restaurant-loaded market that is Palm Springs. Appetizer options such as Tempura Vegetables, Cauliflower Chowder and grilled Baby Artichokes have all delivered the promise of this place. Main courses that I've... More

We met Solon while we were walking near the restaurant. He escorted us over to look at another restaurant. We had an interesting conversation about his family and travel. My husband and I decided we would go to his restaurant instead. The sushi was great and other food was very good. Service was great. Thanks to the sushi chef.

When asked to join friends for dinner in a casino (Fantasy Springs) in Indio, CA, we couldn't think why we were going so far from Palm Springs/Palm Desert to an unlikely place--in our minds--for dinner. This was definitely a pleasant surprise. The setting might be unusual, but once you walk through the doors to this restaurant, you only appreciate the... More

We got sick from the food during the show. We did not want to be rushed so we told our server we wanted to wait to order beyond the salad. She assured us they don't rush. So she took the complete order and checked with us after the salad. 1 minute after we gave her the okay to START the... More

Good wine selection, but empty glasses were a loss of revenue to the property. Food was lukewarm and I had an expectation of great service and great food when spending as much as we did. Value does not mean cheap, value means you perceive a good deal for the food, service, and experience you pay for. Will never eat here... More

Always on visits to Palm Springs area we choose to drive to Fantasy Springs for dinner at the Bistro. For over ten years we have found the food to be of consistently good quality and if you arrive just before the prime dining hours you can get a window table. Service is great and the fresh loaf bread served in... More

Perhaps my expectations were too high with this restaurant receiving a #1 rating but I was not impressed by the food. The Bistro is located inside the Fantasy Springs Casino complex and the decor/ambience is quite nice for such a venue. The service was attentive and friendly. A glass of wine, appetizer, entree and dessert cost about $75.00. My criticism... More
