Great Italian food

We don't have fresh Italian food available where we live. We spend an hour deciding on with desert pizza place to choose we choose Mario's. They offered everything we wanted and hoped for. After having spent a month in Italy I feel semi-qualified to say that this is not fresh Italian food. It is not Italian anything except maybe the Ruffino wine. The service would have been great...good job Rose, except that the food took FOREVER! She did her best. This is hands down the worst thing called pizza I have ever seen.... More

In town for Memorial Day weekend and was looking for some Italian. Drove by this place and decided to check menu online. Looked like they had a lot of choices from pasta, pizza, seafood, and vegetarian options. We got in and were seated immediately. I liked that they had 1/2 and full size portions. Our family ordered the lasagna, spaghetti... More

Have been here several times when visiting Palm Desert. Food was very good, very reasonably priced, however the preparation time and service was sub-par. Not usual. Several tables around us were also making comments. Went on April 23rd. Will cause us to rethink going again soon.

What a great and surprising find!! After a daunting 3-hour drive from LA, hubby and I were famished and exhausted, and decided to stop by the first place we could find that appealed to both of us that wasn’t necessarily fast food. We pulled up, my husband goes inside to place our order, and about 15 mins later, emerges with... More

Four of us ate here for $63.60, (plus Tax and Tip). Four glasses (full by the way) of Merlot Included. Just the right size of serving, no need to leave anything or take out the excess. Good fast and friendly service. We will be back. Oh, by the way it is not in Indio, it is in Bermuda Dunes.

Marios has several locations throughout Coachella Valley. They have special prices on smaller plates and the biggest glass of wine for $5 all day. I like the white pizza and enjoy their homemade sausage. this is not gourmet, but a good family place to satisfy your craving for Italian food.

We go to Mario's 2-3 times a month for lunch or dinner. They have a great variety at very reasonable prices. Our favorites, are the small anti-pasta salad (which we share) the Italian sausage parmesan , and pizza. We like the Indio location or the Jefferson location

Great food at good prices. We were sorely disappointed by an outing at another Italian restaurant in the area. We took our chances on Mario's but were skeptical it was in what looked like a strip mall. We all had the "lite" portions. It was plenty of food with no leftovers. The lasagna had lots of meat, the shrimp scampi... More
