The Mazzellas moved to the desert after many years as owners and operators of successful Italian Restaurants in New Jersey.Over the years other family members joined in the growth of the business. The menu was developed by request of the customers, so everything that is available is tried and accepted over the many years. Anna and Jerry's success is due to their having paid exceptional attention to the choosing of the freshest ingredients and the daily preparation of food in the best manner possible with consistency. ~~~Ciro's loyal customers attest to the success of the Mazzella's efforts over the past years. Ciro's is dedicated to serving the freshest, highest quality Italian food and we dedicate these efforts to our new customers as well as to the hundreds of loyal friends that have developed over the years. Ron and Norma Hare continue the tradition today.

One of the best pizza's I have ever eaten and I have eaten plenty of pizza's in my liftetime, including the very best (Pepe's of New Haven). OK, the bread they brought out was awful, but it didnt matter- we came for the pizza and it was tremendous. Fodor-recommended.

When we crave pizza in Indio, we always go to Ciro's. Its' hard to choose between the 1/2 ravioli/1/2 spaghetti with a beautiful sauce and fresh past………or the pizza, freshly made and thrown while you watch. Toppings are always fresh and real, great crust; not greasy. Family friendly and freshly remodeled, it's a great way to spend an evening. No... More

We have been here twice. The first time we tried the pizza and it was fabulous. Tonight we tried the lasagna and our friend had the red clam sauce pasta. We all enjoyed our food, and service both times was very attentive, but next time we will go for the pizza again.

We are snow birds who have enjoyed the staff and food at Ciros for 30 years. While restaurants come and go Ciros remains true to its basics. Still delivering complimentary garlic bread when you are seated. The pizza dough and sauce fresh daily. Pizza topping choices are plentiful and they thought far enough ahead to offer either fresh or canned... More

My husband wanted to go here because the reviews were good. We were expecting a nice little Italian restaurant to enjoy some good food. We found a pizzeria, not really a ristorante. Although the atmosphere wasn't up to snuff for us, we've traveled enough to know that some of these places have great Italian food. Not so. Our salad was... More

Some of the best pizza you will eat!! Low key place, friendly staff and great food. We are new to the area and just happened upon this spot, and have made it our "go to" place for pizza. Try it!

Ciro's has been a favorite of the locals for more than 40 years. Even though they are under new management they still offer the same friendly service and great food at reasonable prices.

Have been to Ciro's many times and have loved it. Homey, local place. Good pizza, good basic Italian food. Clean, nice service. The place has a new owner, and the last time we went the food was not quite as good. Eggplant parm was not piping hot or as fresh as was with the previous owner. Salad not as flavorful.... More

I was just happening by the area on a Sunday afternoon, after getting some great produce from a roadside stand, just west of the restaurant, at Monroe St @ CA 111; I asked the guy where a good Italian restaurant was, and he said Ciro's. I wasn't disappointed: I had the baked penne pasta dish along with spaghetti and sauce.... More

We were in La Quinta staying at PGA West and some neighbors said if you want some great Italian food, and who doesn't, go to Ciro's. We had a 6 month old and her parents with us so we opted for take out and it was great. The food was ready when promised, very reasonable and really nice people. We... More
