The new owner has made a lot of improvement to the decor. Food is very good I have eaten here for over twenty years
Long ago(1970s-80s), Ciro's was once actually worth driving from Palm Springs for! It had authentic, Italian Deli items and fresh-made Pizza. Everything was made Old World style; fresh, homestyle and plentiful. Yes, waiting nearly 30min for a hand-tossed PIzza is considered long.....but certainly worth it, once it arrived. Fast forward to 2007 - I again ordered a Pizza and had... More
Fantastic fresh ingredients. Love the fresh basil and tomatoes on the pizza. Sometimes it is a tad lukewarm, but always excellent tasting. Great lasagna and garlic bread. Friendly staff. Family owned.
We enjoyed the pizza. Bubbly , light crust, decent sauce, generous toppings. Service was friendly and timely. The antipasto salad was drab. Dressing was standard, veggies fresh, antipasto was a pleasant surprise hidden under a mound of iceberg and a scoop of pimento. I'd come back, but I'd try a different salad.
We came here because of a free pizza deal. We'll come back because of the quality of the food and the very friendly manager. Both of us had pizzas, my husband the sausage and olives (build your own) and me the anchovies and mushrooms. I've never seen as many anchovies on one pizza! And the manager was quite hospitable. Just chanced upon this great place and enjoyed the Ravioli. The original owner ( originally from New Jersey ) retired and sold a year or so ago and the new owners seem to be maintaining the standards so far from what the locals tell me. Keep it up folks.
We ate here because of the front desk guy at our hotel recommended it. Overall it was way too expensive for what we got but it was decent. The food isn't bad it's just overpriced.
One of the best pizza's I have ever eaten and I have eaten plenty of pizza's in my liftetime, including the very best (Pepe's of New Haven). OK, the bread they brought out was awful, but it didnt matter- we came for the pizza and it was tremendous. Fodor-recommended.
When we crave pizza in Indio, we always go to Ciro's. Its' hard to choose between the 1/2 ravioli/1/2 spaghetti with a beautiful sauce and fresh past………or the pizza, freshly made and thrown while you watch. Toppings are always fresh and real, great crust; not greasy. Family friendly and freshly remodeled, it's a great way to spend an evening. No... More
We have been here twice. The first time we tried the pizza and it was fabulous. Tonight we tried the lasagna and our friend had the red clam sauce pasta. We all enjoyed our food, and service both times was very attentive, but next time we will go for the pizza again.
