Decent

Just had a quick meal for breakfast. Had the breakfast buffet. Had a nice selection of items. Nothing exceptional but nice.

We were the only customers on a weeknight, perhaps the prices scare potential customers. The sea bass was perfectly cooked. It was a larger portion than I wanted but it too tasty to leave. The food was attractively presented, and service was good. Beer prices were a bit steep ($7 for a bottle). We would return when we are back... More

Had egg white omelette and cappuccino with English muffin. Cut up fruit was good. Service seemed slow. Eggs Benedict and waffles were on menu too. Sit by pool and enjoy scenery.

We went here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet. This restaurant was in our hotel, so very convenient for us. The table next to us ordered the lobster benedict for breakfast and after seeing it, I wished I had ordered that. The buffet was great, but if I went back at breakfast, I'd try the lobster... More

Breakfast buffet well prepared with choice of full @$24 or continental(without eggs) @$16. Seafood buffet Friday night but many items overcooked. King crab legs were frozen and had to send back. Prime rib buffet Saturday night but did not partake. Their Caesar salad is outstanding.

Our first evening at the hotel. My wife and I were attracted to the Greg Norman Kobe beef burger on the menu. We ordered them prepared medium. The burgers arrived at our table overdone to the point of becoming charcoal. My "Cajun fries" were plain old French fries but cooked in rancid-smelling old grease and soggy. I lost my appetite... Not all of us dig fusion foods or dig a chocolate fondue fountain. This place has both. The Sunday Brunch was pretty good. It's no Mother's day at Castaways or the Crown Room at the Hotel Del...but it's OK.

This was our only hotel option for dinner that was open so we gave it a try. Unfortunately, the food and service were not worth the price. There are many great dining options in the area so I would only choose Cava for convenience.

A buffet was available and several in our party liked the choices offered. I had the crab cake, very good, and a salad with strawberries that was perfect for a hot evening!

One of us ate the all-inclusive $24 buffet (juice and coffee included) and the other opted out for the $16 huevos rancheros Benedict" from the menu. This is "a twist on a Coachella Valley favorite", (so says the menu description), as well as the $5 glass of orange juice and the $3 cup of coffee. All in all, the all-inclusive... More
