Great Dinner with Friends

Had a great meal at the new NEST. I had been there a couple of years ago but the New Owners have done an awesome job bringing this restaurant up to 2015. We had a great dinner and the service was very good. The lounge / bar area was really hooping when we left. A must see. Congrat's to the... read more

Heard about the Nest as a live music restaurant from the Rat-pack era. Turns out there's no validity to that claim. But, wow, what great live music. The owner, Kevin, played midi-keyboard and sang with 2 saxes and a guitar. He was replaced by equally talented keyboard entertainer (forgot his name) who has performed there for 10+ years. Small dance... More

One half of the place is a traditional Italian restaurant; the other side is a raucous bar with loud music and people over 50 whooping it up like a college disco. The food is good but expensive, mostly a traditional Italian menu. The kind of place where they bring you the salad first and every entree is at least $35.... More

Huge crowd. All different ages. Best tip- During the season make a dinner reservation and if the line is wrapped around the building then ask to go to the 'back bar'.

We had driven by on our way to local golf courses and were intrigued by the place. After reading about the restaurant and the menu, as fans of Eastern European cuisine, there is a good choice on the menu, we felt we must try the Nest. The food portions are conservative for the price point. Quite conservative. We understood that... More

The food is okay, but not the main reason to go here. The bar action is the real attraction. It's rowdy, loud and lots of fun. The place is always packed and the dance floor is too small for the crowd.

Be prepared, this is not a quiet eating establishment. Reservations were easy to get and we were greeted with enthusiasm and seated immediately. The first thing you will notice is the noise level which is very very high. It was the end of happy hour in the bar and bar patrons were very happy. Our dinner was very good -... More

Have passed by the Nest on many occasions as we come to the valley annually for a week of golf. We usually 1 or 2 times at Indian Wells CC thereby passing the Nest on our way back to Rancho Mirage/Mission Hills. Decided to give it a try for dinner . Easy access and adaquate parking is just across the... More

Our friends took us to have dinner at the infamous Nest. We had heard of their reputation as a singles meeting place, especially for the "not so young" types. Lots of meeting and greeting going on. The dance floor and bar were right in the entrance so you can't miss it. We had a very nice dinner but the menu... More

We had a very large group and they accomodated us on the patio. We were all served the right orders which is amazing for large round tables to be able to figure out who ordered what. Lots of comfort food- would highly suggest the patio if you have a group. We were loud and laughing and played a game and... More
