Great Burger

This Pub/Diner is on the way into Idylwild and serves up some of the meanest burgers. Its standard 8 ounce is a lot of meat but tasty. If you want the smaller size. get the 5 ounce and they have a Seniors menu listing that is smaller and less expensive.. Good food with friendly service. we always... read more

I have been to a lot of restaurants in idyllwild and they don't know how to cook. I'm a chef so yes I'm a strong critic but seriously how do you mess up wings and have a dirty restaurant. The owner is sweet and very friendly. The burgers are to die for and the desserts oh my!! Very clean environment... More

We stopped here for dinner one night, it had a decent burger and great onion rings. I would recommend it for a casual, easy dinner. and service was fast, great prices on drinks.

My husband and I are by no means picky eaters. We stopped in for a bite while in the area for the weekend and were horribly disappointed. The service was ridiculously slow and the food was horrible in addition to being overpriced. The chili was more like soup and rather tasteless. The pastrami was greasy and tough. Definitely not worth... More

If you want to venture a few blocks away from the tourist eateries, go here. They have the best hand made onion rings. Everything including the dressings and dips are made fresh. A notty pine funky bar, a blast from the past decor with really good food that will leave you saying. Wow, that was great. The owner is wonderful... More

First time I visited this charming restaurant, I had the a small burger and fresh onion rings that were very tasty and a great price. The second time I visited, I had the onion soup with Mary's French Dip sandwich, excellent food, price and service. I sat outside in the back patio, which provided music. The singer was very talented... More

We had just left Idyllwild after an afternoon of exploring all the great little shops in town, and headed out of town about half a mile. Pondering which door to enter when the owner came out to assist and let us in through the kitchen. How many restaurants would want their customers in their kitchens?? I glanced as we proceeded... Had a late lunch upon arrival in town. The menu offered a small 6 oz steak that was just perfect, sides were good. Peach crisp was mostly cinnamon! Pleasant, cozy, mountain town place.
