Wow, super amazing philly cheese! Always a hit with the family!! Call ahead and it's ready for pickup. Yum!!!! Worth going here. Haven't had a lot on the menu, but the original is awesome!

I grew up on the east coast and spent a fair amount of time in Philly. I have a tendency to order a cheesesteak whenever I see it on the menu and in most cases I leave disappointed. John's is the first and only restaurant I've found in Southern California to actually provide something that both resembled and tasted like... More

This is the real deal! John, the owner, is from Philly and you'd think you were within sight of the liberty bell while tackling this huge mountain of cheesy tender shredded beef goodness. Menu has all types of appetizers ranging from fries to fried zucchini, awesome burgers and even salads and many speciality cheesesteak sandwiches created by John. But don't... More

It's not a flashy place but it is very good! Served up hot and full of meaty cheesy goodness. Had the Plain old cheesesteak and the Works. The little bit of spice from the peppers works great.

We had the original Philly cheesesteak which was very good, especially the bread. It needed more salt, but that's an easy fix compared to being oversalted. For anyone from Pennsylvania, as I am, it is fun to see the additional PA products, chips, soda, dessert.

The philly steak sandwiches and fries are out of this world. Don't buy a whole one unless you're absolutely starving, or you want leftovers. Good size for sharing, since they're better fresh than as leftovers.

The restaurant is not a place where you want to take your special someone to but if you are with a buddy or you just want to get it to go, this is the best philly cheesesteak around. A whole sandwhich will definitely fill you up and will cost 9 dollars and a half will cost around 6 dollars. A... More
