A classic American Diner on the pier. A slice of 1950-60s USA, except they also carry a few decent beers, too.

The service was great, so friendly and helpful (I loved the uniforms the staff were wearing)the view was fantastic, the atmosphere - fun, it was warm and cosy while the wind outside was blowing and cold. I would highly recommend this Diner to anyone visiting the area, if you don't visit the Diner then you haven't really been to Huntington... More

Ruby's diner is a place you must eat at while visiting Huntington Beach. The view is great as you stare off into the Pacific ocean. Ruby's has your typical diner food, but the milk shakes are out of this world delicious! They even bring you the extra that is left after making your milk shake, which almost gives you 2... More

Went to the pier for the sunset and ate dinner upstairs. The food was ho-hum, the sunset was nice. Wouldn't bother to go again!

This place has the beat Fish and Chips, Halibut no less, and the Burgers are BIIIIIIIIIIg and juicy, as are the shakes. For 50s type food and atmosphere, this is the place to visit. End of the pier in Huntington Beach.

Good food, fun service Great milk shakes, Love it! The wait staff is mixed male and femal with the girls in pretty 50's era dresses and the men in white shirts, paper hats and white aprons with 50s and 60's rock and roll in the back ground. Love it.

We tried to stop at a Ruby's on Hwy1 but did not find a parking place, so this was great. Parking was tight and we had to hunt a little, so arrive early for this location. Everyone should eat here at least once. The burgers and shake were great!! Enjoy!!

Our kids and their grandparents alike LOVE eating at Ruby's! The HB pier location is exceptional, thanks to its lovely views. If the upstairs seating area is open, ask for a window booth, and take advantage of the awesome photo op. We lived in HB for four years and never grew weary of Ruby's. Be sure to sign up for... More

Towards the end of the long pier, is Ruby's with a great selection of milkshakes in all flavors. Worth a try while siting on one of the benches watching the beauiful beach and ocean.

Had lunch here and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, and we sat outside watching the waves while we waited. They sat us upstairs right by the window with sweeping views of the coast and pacific. Gorgeous. The food was typical diner food and it was good. But what was really delicious was the vanilla malt! Yum!
