Excellent Value, Great Service, Very Good Food!

Stopped in for breakfast at this local hotspot and enjoyed a well prepared, tasty, healthy meal. The bran muffin was warm, light and delicious. Poached eggs prepared exactly as requested. Pancakes light and fluffy. Great value for the price! Service from a waitstaff with smiles on their faces!

Came here for breakfast after reading other reviews on Trip Advisor. There was a wait to sit outside (understandable since weather was gorgeous) so we sat inside (no wait). Everybody was very friendly including the other customers. The coffee was superb for diner coffee. My dad and I both ordered poached eggs that the server thought were overdone so he... More

this is a highly touted breakfast place in a town with not a lot of high end options but tons of 3-4 star dining options. Breakfast was hearty and fresh, service was prompt and efficient, street-side dining decent.

The Sugar Shack, named after the Fireball's 1960's hit song, is a family run business situated in the heart of Main Street, near the Huntington Beach Pier. Open at 5AM, the Shack features standard breakfast fare in hearty portions. The waitresses are quick with the coffee. Wife and I ate there two mornings in a row during a short weekend... More

Back outdoor patio was so dirty. Flies were a constant bother, pigeon poop and the nasty smell of trash. I will not be going back :(

The Sugar Shack is very well known for its breakfast menu, however, I had a Veggie Burger there the other day for lunch, and I think it is the best one I have ever had. The breakfast is always great, and the service is always good. The waitstaff always seem to be enjoying their job and they are all very... More

This long-time hangout on Main Street just two blocks from the beach is all about what we residents love in Huntington Beach. Sitting out on the sidewalk watching the locals stroll by is a favorite pastime of those of us who have lived here a long time. The food is prepared just the way Mom used to make us breakfast... A good selection of Breakfast Menu. Long line all the time, with every servers busy taking and serving the meal, expect to have to flag down someone for your coffee or water refills. Inside the restaurant, the tables are so close together, really cramped. The best is to try to get an outdoor table. The food is good, and the... More
