Wonderful Surprise

I had seen the storefront window of this restaurant for years situated in a strip mall I frequent for grocery shopping. Did not look enticing to enter. I have been to one of the sister restaurants many times this year - The Black Trumpet - and someone mentioned this one was the original... read more

I had seen the storefront window of this restaurant for years situated in a strip mall I frequent for grocery shopping. Did not look enticing to enter. I have been to one of the sister restaurants many times this year - The Black Trumpet - and someone mentioned this one was the original restaurant owner/chef opened. Looking for a new... More

This place was recommended to us by local friends while we were visiting Huntington Beach. Crowded place, good food and drinks. The service was a little slow but not that big of a deal. I would definately go back when in town again.

Tiny place tucked in a shopping mall of Adams and Beach blvd. cozy place, nice staff. Sat at the bar facing the busy chefs and watching the action . As this was the 1st time we went with the basics ; spaghetti with extra sausage and a meatball , arugula salad with shrimp and Burrata cheese. The wine was a... More

This was one of the best meals I have ever had! We were celebrating my 60th birthday. I had the Chilean sea bass and it had an out of this world flavor with a mango ginger marinade, mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. It was to die for! Everyone loved their meal. My daughter can never pass up fruiti de mare... More

Capone's is truely a Local's Secrect, located in a Strip Shopping Center. You don't eat here for the view of the parking lot, but really the Food. They do not take reservations but there is a friendly bar to have a glass of wine (have daily specials) or a Cocktail. Owner is out front making sure the food has been... More

I'm an Italian girl from Chicago. So...I'm kind of spoiled when it come to good Italian food. Not to mention I've been traveling to Italy since the age of 7. I'm kind of a skeptic when it comes to Italian food in Southern California. But, I heard good things. The seating was perfect, palm trees and a pretty sunset always... More

Capone's is a real treasure. The restaurant is tucked into a strip mall and the inside is small with limited seating. We visited on a Friday night after 7 pm and it was packed so we ended up at the Chef's bar. The service was excellent and it was fun to watch the food being prepared. We started with wine,... More

We had a wonderful dinner at this cute little restaurant located in a busy strip mall. We showed up around 6p and were seated right away, but noticed that it was quickly filling up. Capone's doesn't take reservations, so I imagine weekends are pretty busy. The food was very good! The veal Marsala was very tender with a great taste,... More

we come out to California at least three times a year to visit family and always try to go to a new place. This was first time at Capone's. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing We had the brochette and calamari appetizers. Both were excellent. Two of us had the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were moist and... More
