Sort of had a view

We made a reservation ahead of time- as it turned out we had two more than we planned for. Instead of giving us the wonderful table with the ocean view- they moved us and said because we had not told them the right number they couldn't accomodate us at that table- pretty funny since that table... read more

Named after a legendary surfer and not the actor, Duke's faces the surfer-friendly sea of Huntington Beach and offers a comfy setting for an evening night out. I was expecting to be treated to fine seafood dinner, and the menu promised as much: crab legs and lobster at market (i.e. sky-high prices) and a number of "seasonal" fish prepared to... More

We always like everything we have at Duke's, no matter which one we go to. This was our first time at the one in Huntington Beach, and it didn't disappoint. For those who haven't been, Duke's lunch menu is very small. That doesn't matter though, because anything you order there is good. The burgers are great, the sandwiches and salads... More

We stopped here after shopping downtown. It was really cool how you could see the beach and everyone having fun, playing volleyball etc. We sat at the bar because we we on a time restriction. Big mistake, although the host recommended this as we only had about 1 hour and 40 min. It was a very busy day but no... More

We were on vacation and stopped in for lunch. I enjoyed being able to see the ocean view while having a bite to eat. The food was good. The service was very good. Overall a good place to stop in!

We eat at the Barefoot Bar and try to sit at the bar and have appetizers and drinks. The bar was full so we sat towards the street side which is a great for people watching. A short menu listing great appetizers as well as local favorites and drink selections. We love the Panko Crushed Calamari and the Crab MacNut... More

We went into Duke's thinking it would be over-priced and average food with a great location. It was late in the day and we had been traveling from the east coast, so we went in. The wait was over an hour, so we went to the bar area. We sat down right away and were greeted within a reasonable amount... More

Dukes is a great place to eat with the family and watch the pier and ocean. Friendly service, great food. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely eat here again or stop by for happy hour.
