Stayed at the hotel and figured we'd give it a try. Ended up going back for all meals. The food and service was amazing. The fig flatbread was out of this world and the french toast with sour cherry syrup was delectable!

I think that the Shorebreak Hotel is one of the more attractive new additions in Huntington Breach. We've enjoyed the "Zimzala" several times since then. Love to sit on their terrace with an ocean view and the quality of the food is pleasant and a bit more ambitious executed. Quality of service varies, can be very attentive, but also kind... More

The chef prepares a very gourmet assortment of Happy Hour Appetizers. The mussels in a delicious broth, the crispy mushrooms, and sliders are wonderful!

Just drop your dog off because you probably won't want to eat there. We just had the worst service ever for a group of 11 that had a reservation for a birthday dinner at 5:30, and it took us 2 1/2 hours to get out of there on a Sunday night! It was not at all crowded, and yet we... More

We are locals and are always looking for a good but inexpensive place to dine out with great atmosphere in our neighborhood. This is the perfect place for that. If weather permits, I highly recommend sitting outside for the view. It always makes us feel that we are also on vacation like the people staying here! We usually go for... More

We are HB locals and we are always searching for that breakfast spot or the lunch spot or the great dinner spot in HB. It's a hit or miss on the occupancy as the summer months and times during the US OPEN can be difficult to squeeze in there, it can get crowded. This past Sunday we enjoyed a very... More

We ate at zimzala in August and enjoyed the atmosphere and food. We took our adult children back in January. The food was good but the atmosphere had changed to a young adult bar scene. There was a very loud private party that was consuming large amounts of alcohol. At about 10:30 a fight broke out right by our table.... More

Dear Lynn29140, I apologize that you had to witness the event that happened in the private room. I was present, trying to handle the situation and once it was, I did go to the tables that were still present. I understand completely that you left right away and I apologize I didn't get a chance to talk to you and... More

We ate here both for dinner and breakfast last week while staying at the hotel. The atmosphere is very calming with soft music playing. For dinner we shared several appetizers which were all above average. The service was great also.

Had a few beers and appetizers. Food was good. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed so my friends and I could relax and talk. I have been there on Friday's and Sat.'s and it has been chill. Nice change from the bustle of HB on Main st.
