Breakfast

Great breakfast burrito! I ate half for breakfast and the other for lunch. The 'cook' wrapped each half separately which really helped.

If you passing through the west shore of Lake Tahoe and need a picnic lunch, this is a great spot to stop for a sandwich to take to the beach. You can eat in or out or walk 100 yards, near the boat launch to the beach and enjoy your sandwich or beer on beautiful Lake Tahoe.

I wasn't even particularly hungry when we stopped at Obexer's, but I'm so happy I forced myself to order a sandwich. I had turkey with cranberry, cream cheese, walnuts, and lettuce on the softest, freshest bun ever. My companions had the fresh tuna sandwich and the seafood salad and said they were great. The store is interesting to see. Obexer's... More

It's summer, with limit time for road repairs, it as common as longer days! You got it, road construction with one lane traffic. We left the vikingholm site and headed north purposely to try out the sandwiches mentioned by other reviewers. Sadly, east coast deli's have it all over any west offering that we have had to date. Haven' t... More

This great little market manages to have everything you might need! They have souvenirs, snacks, a nice deli & grill, beer, wine, even DIY milkshakes. They have toothbrushes & ointments & anything you forgot at home as well! We bought a delicious roast beef panini with grilled onions & horseradish mustard.

If you're not in a hurry, the roast beef Panini and the BLT here are worth the trip. I am not a sandwich type but these were on my top 10 list. The service leaves much to be desired, however. With two people behind in the deli counter, Service was painfully slow. putting in an order was a challenge. If... More

Obexer’s has been listed on a website for dog-friendly cafes, restaurants and dog beaches around Lake Tahoe, but it really isn’t too good from that perspective. Obexer’s is primarily a boat ramp and General Store, with a small patio out back where dogs and owners may eat (the deli in the general store is quite good, although pricey. Kaleb’s Club... More

Great sandwiches here - perfect to pick up before a trip to the beach or a hike. Had a BLT with the best bacon I have ever had!

We were driving around the entire lake Tahoe and stopping at various places along the route. Obexer's is a great general store and the food they prepare is good and quick. The people are very friendly and they have great milkshakes.
