I'm Italian. I'm from back East - the home of great Italian food. I was skeptical heading to this restaurant as a guest and wasn't sure what to expect. In the end, it might have been one of the best meals I've had this year and perhaps in my top 5 favorite Italian meals and restaurants, country-wide. The pasta was... More

The food here was tasty, the staff friendly, and the ambience fun. The pasta was good and not overcooked. The restaurant was noisy, but that's the tenor of Hermosa Beach. Prices were, I thought, a bit high, but, again, that's Hermosa Beach. We were with friends and were able to talk, but the noise level was still a bit high.

This little Italian Restaurant is a cross between old school Italian meets health conscious. I was disappointed that a traditional Italian restaurant did not serve spaghetti and meat balls. There was a pasta and turkey sausage dish which I did try. It was very good and there was plenty of it but not quite what I was looking for. We... More

This is a very nice casual Italian restaurant. Menu is somewhat limited but they do have a great variety of pastas and sauces. Prices are very reasonable and servers are nice and helpful. I had linguine with marinara sauce and grilled shrimp and my wife had fettuccine with artichokes in a pesto sauce. Both pastas were prepared al dente and... More

Loved the pasta. Nice little wine list. Friendly service. This place sticks out in my mind as the best "bang for buck" restaurants that I have eaten in anywhere, and will be on my return list every time I go to LA. I have written the same review of their Santa Monica location as well.

Wow, our entire family of 12 ate here last night and we were all very impressed. Every person loved the dish they ordered. We had various raviolis, black & white spaghetti, calamari, and salads. My favorite was the ricotta and basil pillows with pesto sauce. The food is incredible and the reasonable prices will shock you! The waiters were so... More

Well after noting this was 2nd in trip advisor couldn't wait to go. Noisy, ok for the price but arrabiata sauce poured over pasta with strings of speghetti thrown in to make it look more and then when you've got through this you might find some chicken.

Excellence address! We came based on Trip Advisor recommendation and we had a great time! The food is just great (pick up the Jumbo Raviolis :-)), as well as the service! We even got a piece of their very good chocolate cake as a complementary gift!
