Every single time my mother come to visit, this restaurant was a must visit. The egg variations are scrumptious. I've had many. Every one is a hit.

We stopped here for an early Sunday breakfast. The place is unique and the food great. The service was prompt and attentive. We were told that the wait increases dramatically after 10 AM especially on Sundays. Forewarned in forearmed.

You know what they say - eat where the locals eat - and Martha's is the place. No better breakfast or brunch at the beach and just steps from the sand. The wait time can be long on weekends and service varies according to how busy they are but the food is worth the wait. Stuffed French toast is their... More

We decided to try Martha's for breakfast on a quick weekend trip to L.A. for a concert after my wife read some of the reviews, and it didn't disappoint. It was very busy on a Sunday morning, but 20 minute wait estimate from the hostess was spot on. Nice mix of all ages customers, most of whom were clearly locals.... More

Want a great little beachside breakfast? Head to Martha's she will not disappoint! Location a little north of Hermosa pier right off the strand at 22nd street. It's a fantastic way to start your day!

This is our second visit to Martha's. Customer service is hit or miss. First time was bad, this time was great. Their chicken soup is amazing. Highly recommend the stuffed French toast. Location is great, right on hermosa beach.

We stopped by on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for brunch. The location is steps away from the beach. There was a a diverse crowd there (from locals to tourists, young to old). Everyone seemed to be enjoying the food and the sunshine. We were very impressed by the hostess who was very professional and efficient. We can see that she... More

Hamburger was terrible. Overcooked, dry meat, lettuce that could have from a tree and curly fries also dry. Below average quality.

Delicious food, great service, funky street location. Emma is the standout personality. My chorizo omelette was spectacular, my wife's havarti cheese omelette with grilled tomatoes delighted her. And we discovered the marmalade on rye toast, heard about the "Indian bread with peanut butter and marmalade". A "must" visit.

Great little brunch stop just steps from the beach in Hermosa. Eggs benedict (in numerous variations) is the specialty here - but the fare overall is great. Been visiting here for past few decades, and it's still as good as ever - highly recommended. Pro-tip: Parking can be tight, but there is non-metered street parking available one block up the...
