LOVE this place and the people. My husband and I enjoy going here for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The food is always delicious and has stayed consistent over the years. We've been coming here about 20 years, so that's saying something. Attentive service. Romantic atmosphere. Not a great place for young kids.

restaurant? The food is consistently poor and just plain below mediocre. It could be that higher expectations of the beach community is just not there but things are starting to change around here with the openings in the last few years of Abigaile, Palmilla and Dia del Campo to name a few. we could use a good Italian restaurant in... I would not have stopped in because of the curb appeal. That was my mistake. I originally visited with a business associate, upon a recommendation. The food was fantastic. I always enjoy restaurants with lots of pictures with the owner along side famous film/TV and sports stars.

We just randomly barged into this cottage-like looking building cause we didnt want to que up with everyone else at 22nt street. Were we surprised! We wanted lunch but they only had a brunch menu, so fine, we ordered pasta and a salmon salad. The taste of these 2 dishes is quite unique. everything is very 'light' tasting. the cheese... More

Fantastic dinner for four and many great memories. My Veal piccata was outstanding and others said the same about their meal. Super wine. Oscar, our waiter, was so helpful. Recommend highly to anymore going to Hermosa Beach!!!

Bottle Inn looks small from the street, half a block from Hermosa beach, but is roomy inside. Italian wedding soup was good but had big pasta pieces instead of the traditional tiny pastina. Menu guarantees two meatballs in each cup, and also had chicken pieces. Not as good as Grandmas and not "traditional" by my Italian heritage, but pretty good... More

My daughter has lived in Hermosa for three years. A friend told me about the Bottle Inn when she moved in. She took one look at the outside and wanted nothing to do with It. On my latest trip she relented. It was wonderful. Great food , fine wine and the inside was lovely. The prices are reasonable. She said... More

The Bottle has been around for almost 40 years and the quality and service is unsurpassed. They also have one of the best wine cellars in town. Great for a romatic evening or lunch/brunch in the sun on the patio. Fortunately, we live only 3 blocks away so we can go frequently for lunch or dinner.

This was our first visit to Hermosa Beach. We are from Boston and have eaten in the Italian North End restaurants numerous times over the last forty years. The food here was better than the North End. The Fetuccine Bolognaese was the best I have ever had. The other diners with me thought the Gnocchi and Eggplant were also superior.... More

A little like walking into a time warp. Traditional Italian cuisine just off the strand in Hermosa. Everything in Hermosa is being updated and Californianized. But this little restaurant stays true to its origins. Very good food and nice attention from the waiters. Highly recommend
