My husband was Thrilled with ONE part of my pregnancy. Me- the Nutritionist and crazy healthy eater (usually and while NOT pregnant) had INTENSE and uncontrollable cravings for Buona Vita Pizza and Pasta for about 7 months. We lived nearby and I just smelled it and it was OVER for me. I was ordering it or eating there 3 or... More

Buona Vita is a small, comfortable, and postcard pretty restaurant in Hermosa Beach. When you walk in, you get that ‘Cheers, everyone knows your name’ feeling. The waiters are warm and friendly. The food is excellent. My favorite is the lasagna. Buona Vita is the kind of Italian restaurant we all want to find. I make it a point to... More

I've been to this place numerous times over 5 years and it never disappoints! And last night I added a great new ap (new to me). They made this grilled mozzarella with prosciutto and tomatoes that is to die for. My go to is the meatballs with pink sauce that is made to order from the guys in the open... More

This is a nice little restaurant in Hermos beach, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, family or friends, if you want to eat and be able to talk, not noisy like other restaurants around.Food is delicious, and you can bring your bottle of wine.

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while on vacation. It was super cute and the staff was wonderful. Very romantic! We asked the waitress for her recommendation for dinner (vegetarian for me, chicken for my husband) and she didn't even hesitate. We were a little nervous when the food arrived super fast, but were VERY pleasantly surprised. Both... More

This restaurant is highly popular based on the amount of people in attendance. I would recommend this restaurant for large parties - if there are just the two of you, forget trying to talk, the noise level is off the charts. We ended up at their sister restaurant which is 2 doors down. We originally tried there, and it looked... More

The restaurant looked inviting from the outside and overall it wasn't bad, but the food was hit and miss. The Salmon Ravioli were excellent, but the Spaghetti Carbonara were not even close to what spaghetti Carbonara were supposed to be. (The rendition here was cream sauce with peas and bacon over pasta). Wished I would have known that you can... More
