The quality of the food at Los Vaquero's has always reminded me of something you get out of a frozen TV dinner. It's stale, wilted, and bland. You can see that they really made an effort to build an upscale Mexican restaurant in Hemet as evidenced by the pricey drinks and heavy decor, but they really missed the mark. Then,... More

We went for lunch here on a hot summer day and it was nice and cool inside. We were met by a friendly waitress who showed us to our table at once. No waiting. Our server came nearly at once and we ordered our drinks. She also came with nachos and two sets of salsa for dipping. The atmosphere and... More

We went late on Friday evening looking for a place to serve dinner. What we go t was excellent food, great drinks and wonderful service. Flat out a fun place that makes its own tortillas. We will be back....soon

First off, I am not above paying a premium price for delicious Mexican food. I had stopped here about 12 years ago and I remember their carne asada tacos being delicious. I stopped here this weekend and boy was I disappointed!!!! The salsa was bland. The chips were greasy. My shredded beef tacos had no flavor and my wife and... More

On a very hot day ,the restaurant was not exactly cool inside. Must have had people not come in to work because the service was slow and unorganized. Never did get any water and a beverage order went unfilled - chips and salsa were slow in coming and tiny in size. Fish tacos were tasty as were the side veggies.... More

Excellent food , Good selection on menu , Excellent service. The interior looks like a vintage Mexican Cantina. Sundays they have champagne brunch. I would definitely ome back as a regular.

I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the street so I decided to check this place out. I picked up a to go order. The chips and salsa were good but I had to pay extra for them (a charge for the chips and a separate charge for the salsa!) which I thought was unusual for a Mexican restaurant.... More

I was excited to get some Mexican food while in Hemet, but the tastes were only average here. There wasn't anything wrong with my food, it just wasn't all right. Lacking inspiration, spice and depth of flavour. The fresh tortillas were very tasty, so they win there, but the rest - meh. I think I'll go back to that lady... More

I travel from Las Vegas to drink their bubble gum martini! The food and the service is amazing as well.

This is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Hemet. The chile rellenos are superb. Their happy hour house blended margaritas is great for the price.
