Solid lunch Burger

Arrived for lunch during the week since I was visiting clients in the area. Parking was a breeze since it's in a shared strip mall center. It was a hot day so I started off with a brewed iced tea which was thirst quenching. After seeing a solid review on their burger I opted for the 1/3 pound... read more

Short on ambiance but a four star on food. I have been going to Hemet Steer n Stein for 15 years and have never been disappointed. They make a green chili beef or chicken dinner that isn't on the latest menu but will knock your socks off. And did I mention they have the best Onion rings in the world.... More

The steaks are awesome, wife loves the giant mugs of beer. The side of toast is the best. Save room for ice cream if you can.

This is one of my favorite quick lunch restaurants when I'm in the mood for steak. It is not the fine grade A type beef that I expect when I go to a fine steakhouse for dinner, but it fills the bill when I want a quick steak for lunch. If you haven't tried it and you're in the mood... More

This is the best place to get a steak in Hemet. Sometimes the Waite to be seated may seem long, but that's because this place is popular with the locals. The decor is dated western, no frills. Comfortable dinning atmosphere for families or large groups. Basic menu, consists of steak, potato, beans, salad, toast. Also, serve beer and wine. Place... More

Food is excellent, the service was friendly, options where multiple. Is one of the fiew places where when you order a "well done stake " is well done with out to be burn to crisp or have to send it back for bloody inside. We had a large grupe and we had no problems at all. Fully recommended. One extra:... More

We always visit Steer n Stein when we are in town. It used to be one of our favorites when we lived in Hemet. The corn chowder is exceptionally good, try it if it is available. My husband had the specialty steak and it was tender and delicous. I had the chicken fried steak and it was good but not... More

We just ate at this restaurant tonight, and I decided to write about it right away. We have been there many times in the past, but it has been a while. I really enjoy their Specialty steak smothered in mushrooms - the steak is 7 oz. The steaks come piping hot with two sides of your choice. The prices have... More

We ate there last night. I had the steak and shrimp special. My wife had a hamburger. The hamburger was very good. Although the waiter forgot the French fries. She never got them and decided she did not need tuned extra calories anyway. I ordered a salad and the vegetables with my shrimp and steak. The salad was mediocre. it... More

Have to try the onion rings and the burgers are awesome. Unless you have a crazy big appetite share!
