A Blast from the Past

This restaurant reminds me of the Italian restaurants of old! Great decor and atmosphere. We were a group of 9 and the service was excellent. The food was delicious! We had the grilled salmon with creamy pesto and of course the big fat chocolate cake! A wonderful find in a small town like Hemet.

This is a long standing family restaurant with authentic Italian dishes in which the whole family seems to be involved. I would have rated them much higher if it weren't for the all solid hard surface interior, tile floors, no sound absorbing material anywhere. Yes, it is nice and clean looking, but you can hear everyone's conversation, clattering dishes and... More

Have only been here a couple of times. The most recent visit, we went here to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. They seemed under staffed that day, and service was quite slow. We were a larger group(15 people) but it even took forever to get our drinks...and all we ordered was soda. Our waitress, an older woman who seemed... More

This is a family owned restaurant, and has very fresh, delicious food. Everything from the bread to the pasta is made from scratch on site. I have visited here many times before, and have never been disappointed. The interior frescos really add to the Italian atmosphere. Mrs. Dattilo also makes fresh breads for sale, and it is a treat to... More

While in Hemit for a softball tournament we chose to eat at the Dattilo's restaurant all three nights. The lasagna was out of this world (my husband had it twice in three nights), the sausage peppers and onions were fantastic,The gourmet pizza was delicious as was the salmon with creamy pesto. And I will dream about the scrumptious big fat... More

Had dinner during the week with my BFF and toddler. Server was patient and professional with us as we take a LONG time because we're busy catching up we order slow and eat slow. The Calamari Fritti was great, even my toddler munched them up. My friend's Fetucchini Gina + chicken was delicious and our Margarita Pizza was a treat.... More

DELICIOUS FOOD! My husband have been enjoying Dattillo's for over ten years now. They catered our wedding. Yes, you'll wait a bit, but everything is made fresh. If you order spaghetti, it will be made from pasta dough, run through a pasta machine, prepared and served. If you can't appreciate that, go to Pizza Hut and eat nonsense. The owners... More

We weren't sure what to expect with Hemet being a bit off the beaten path for dedicated Angelinos, but were very pleasantly surprised! Fabulous hand made pastas! The ravioli is made to order and covered in a delicate and delicious

My wife's office had their Christmas party here and as usual the food was great. But if you are in a rush on any other night don't go here. Good food takes time to make and it takes a while for food to come but it is worth the wait. Love this place.
