We are Italian and you can not find a better family run restaurant in Calif.. We started going here when my Mother took us there years ago she lived in Hemet. We have come down from Big Bear Lake to have dinners or lunch with Maria, yes Maria is a no nonsense Italian Mamma.. She cooks she serves she is... More

One of the better choices in Hemet. Definitely a local place with fresh pasta and the owner waiting tables. Nice enough person and very unconventional as a waitress. Food was above average on the Italian scale at fir prices for today's world. Would make a return trip and try something else.

Your order WILL take a while because it's not pre-cooked so have a drink while you're waiting. The cocktails, however, are a tad steep in price. The spaghetti sauce is very good and I love the chicken marsala, lots of mushrooms, the way I like it. We've been going here for years.

Ate here awhile back and had some very basic pasta dish. Over cooked pasta and not very flavorful. Also our server was an older lady who was not fit for service. Old and too slow.

Really great Italian food, I have never been disappointed with the quality. Like most quality food don't expect it to be fast food. It has to be prepared and that takes time. Just make sure you have something to drink while waiting. The last time was a special meal that included an opera performance which was great.

This is a great place to go where you kinda feel you traveled to Italy. So, step inside and take a mini vacay.

This restaurant is a long time established Datillo family restaurant. Maria used to do the cooking and has turned that task over to their son Marko. Everything is authentic and prepared tp order. That also means that you have to be patient a wait a bit for your order to arrive. However, it's all worth waiting for. One of the... More

Dattilo's is a wonderful, family owned and run Italian restaurant. Joseph and his wife Maria run it and Marc Antonio, their son and Mona Lisa, their daughter are also involved. Maria makes the best bread, Mona Lisa makes the BEST CAKES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD and Marc is a wonderful chef. You are welcomed like family when you walk in,... More

Lasagna is my go to Italian food. Very good. Entertainment enjoyable with dinner. Enjoyed nice red wine (house) with our meal. Overall enjoyable. Owner stopped by table to say hi.

Four of us visited Datillo's. We had a long wait between getting menus and the order being taken. We had a waitress who confessed that she usually works in the kitchen. When asked how much the market priced rack of ribs was, she texted the kitchen. The full rack was $38 and a half rack was $27, which should be... More
