Description: It's hard to describe the Barndiva experience. And a web site is no substitution for being able to sit back and enjoy the beauty of an extraordinary space, the taste of a perfect cocktail, or the satisfaction that comes from a meal that hits all the right notes in you. Barndiva is a celebration of all things local. Our food is sourced from farmers, ranchers and small batch purveyors who live and work in the magnificent food shed surrounding us. Food is our passion. In everything we do, it all starts there. Thanks for visiting.

Girlfriends and I had dinner and drinks at Barndiva. We each had a different entree-- fish, chicken, filet-- and all were beautifully presented and tasted divine. Wine list was nice. We enjoyed a bottle of Jordan Chardonnay. Good service and interesting crowd.

Food was wonderful - did the Prix Fixe menu because group was large. All choices on menu proved to be excellent, our group ended up having one of each thing. Service was outstanding - attentive but not intrusive. Will absolutely go back when in the area. Wire sculptures in our dining room were interesting and unusual.

Pricey. In a word, if money is no object then you may find this a good place for a first date. Staff was friendly. Outdoor patio a little secluded for my taste.

...super meal. Food was excellent and it was humming even on a cold winter eve. On this night it was inconsistent service at table but the sommelier (he is new I think) Chris is a star. We remember him from Farm House Inn and he is very personable and smart about wines. Make reservations no matter what.

You definitely need to check this place out when in Healdsburg. It's a little bit pricier than other options, but well worth it.

We came here for lunch on our way out of town after having a wine pairing lunch at a winery, and dinner the night before at Dry Creek Kitchen. This was our first time at Barndiva, and we ordered light fare for lunch. We didn't order anything particularly complicated, and it was quite delicious and well-prepared. It is a rustic setting... This restaurant, near the heart of downtown, has a pleasant blended atmosphere - part casual farm-style decorations, and part contemporary gallery, adorned with simple arrangements of fresh flowers. Our service was impeccable, involving 5 or 6 separate staff who appear to be alert to helping each other give the finest of service. Having visited wineries all day, we chose to... More

In order for our party of 9 to be accommodated, we were required to order off the prix fixe menu with limited choices. Things started out well with excellent goat cheese croquettes, but went south quickly there after. The food that followed was tasteless and in short supply. Fish was undercooked and bland, accompanied by microscopic vegetables. After spending $39... More

Cute Atmosphere-PRETENTIOUS-Attractive Presentation BUT Tasteless Flavor!!! Ok not even sure where to begin...could not make a reservation for a party of 9 online so their website tool for reservations is terrible at best. They were closed four days that week due to the holidays so my phone message was not returned until the morning I was en route to the... More

Definitely a 4.5 star experience. The place is nice; comfortable, causal, but elegant. The staff friendly and polished. Now.... If you follow my reviews you know I have eaten in some 5 star restaurants, that I am a retired Chef, that my hobby is eating. You have to eat here at least once while in Healdsburg. Also a shout out... More
