As a local I've been dining here for years on special occasions. It is expensive, but so beautiful and the food is always fabulous. I just returned again after one year's absence and it is even better, if possible. We ordered the 6 course fixed dinner, but they also brought us 9 small courses in between -- providing a total... Had I not eaten here before, I would have been highly impressed. The location, the grounds, the atmosphere, all make this for a truly romantic and lovely setting. Service is very efficient, prompt, unobtrusive, and timely. Two tasting menus are available: Carte Blanche or Chef's Grand Dame. I chose the Carte Blanche. Included in either are quite a few amuse... Of course there are a few good restaurants in the area, but here we are talking about a different category. If the money is not a problem and you have one night at Healdsburg I will strongly recommend not to miss this one. This is my third time here and Executive chef Jesee keep surprising me every time so I... More

Gosh - the food is amazing and each new thing was a surprise and delight. So why does it have to be in a badly decorated old-fashioned lace and peacock feather grandma Victorian. They should set up shop in the hotel (H2) we stayed in which would be more fitting. The food is hip, the vibe is dowdy. Hush, hush... More

Their Michelin star rated restaurant did not disappoint! A must! Food was amazing, the service was impeccable, the restaurant was beautiful and the cost was not ridiculous. We didnt do the 10 course meal. I would highly recommend and i would do it again!

Context: dinner and drinks for two on a Sunday evening. Atmosphere: madrona is a manor with the long drive. Big front porch (great for a cocktail and view), huge gardens and manor like pretentious inside. Fireplaces, huge velvet curtains, dark paintings, gilded mirrors and lots of dark wood and deep pile carpets. You enter the foyer and to the left... More

We visited Madrona Manor Restaurant as part of an overnight trip to Healdsburg with friends we had been visiting in San Francisco. Our friend picked this restaurant because she had been before and was very impressed. Our friend is a real foodie and has been to all the best places including the renowned French Laundry. Although Madrona has only one... More

Ten very original takes on some traditional food dishes that all in some way captured the essence of the dish yet improved it. The Confit duck was masterful, the egg amuse was extraordinary and the surprise of additional little tastes was fun. Wines were wonderful and often matched with inspired skill. Service was so friendly and welcoming. This place could... More
