We made a reservation at the restaurant for dinner going by the 35-50 price guide. Actually, there are ONLY two choices. The $130( per person) or more expensive taste menu. Everything is extra. Also, a gratuity is automatically added, even for two people without notice. Our bill was $377.00! We were not strangers to gourmet cuisine, but felt slighted. Magazine... More

Thank you for your comments. We have contacted Tripadvisor to remove or update the menu listed on this page as we did not post it and were unsure how to update it. Our most current menu with prices is always available on our website (link above) and prices are always listed on the menus presented to guests in the restaurant. More

We can't remember when we have enjoyed a meal more than our "Grande Dame" chef's 10-course tasting menu. Every dish was perfectly prepared, both in the balance and freshness of the flavors and the appearance. But unlike other tasting menus at other restaurants, the flavors were the stars of each dish (as opposed to sensationalized appearance). And the numerous tiny... More

The food, service, and ambiance at Madrona Manor were all first class. A prix fixe menu offered 6 scrumptious courses at a price much lower than you would probably pay in a big city. Attentive waiters brought everything promptly, explained all the dishes, and offered various amuse-bouches and palate cleansers in addition. Each dish was creative and beautifully presented but... I have eaten in this resturant several times over the years and in fact had the best meal of my life here in 2012 but last night was a letdown. There were a few bites of good food and one excellent course but several that were less than expected. Most notably the lamb was tough, fatty and underseasoned. Two courses featured... More

We had the 10-course tasting menu. I agreed with many of the reviewers that the small bites before each course were interesting but did not really compliment to the main menu. I can see the chef is trying to be creative and Japanese inspired but some of the small bites were just too small and didn't turn out to be... More

In an area where it's hard to find a bad meal, Chef Jesse and his team knock the dining experience out of the park. The flavors, presentation and wine pairings made this an experience I will never forget. Don't miss this.

This was my birthday dinner for this year. My husband and I had the Chef's Grande Dame Menu with the wine pairing to share. This menu includes 10 courses and many small tastes from the chef. The menu was very good, but the tiny tastes were just an intrusion rather than a compliment to the menu. I could review each... More

We came for New Year eve dinner. The place was well decorated and the service impeccable. A five course tasting menu was offered with surcharges for the better choices. Additional tastes were offered in between courses. Overall, we found the food to be ostentatiously presented, but without memorable flavors. The beef main course was an exception as the beef was... The restaurant is situated in an imposing mansion just out of Healdsburg and was a bit gaudily lit up for the holidays. Inside, dinner is served in different, elegant, Victorian rooms - ours had four tables. It was empty when we arrived which was odd because when we asked if we could arrive even fifteen minutes early were told no... More

We went there for their Dickens Christmas Dinner, but anytime of the year will result in a memorable dining experience. One of the most expensive restaurant in the area but worth every $$$. Where else can you have ice cream make at your table?
