We were captivated by the Madrona Manor from the moment we drove though the beautiful exquisite ivy covered arches that open onto the wonderfully maintained Victorian Main house and flowering gardens. It is all so breathtaking and the service could not have been better. We were given an early check-in and soon it was time for cocktails on the veranda... More

The $129 tasting menu in this restaurant by far is the best one I have ever had since a long time. The food was exceptionally delicious. The presentation was beautiful and creative in every dish and they all tasted good. You can tell the chef put so much thoughts in to his work to make everything perfect. The service was... More

This restaurant is gorgeous, absolutely breath-taking. My fiance and I ate on the porch and it was beautiful and so romantic. The service was also great. And the chef was so nice. We really wanted to like this place, but we were so disappointed. We live in NYC and have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world... More

From start to finish (which took quite a while - much time between courses), this restaurant is striking for the really tiny portions and annoyingly pretentious service. In addition to many courses, there were a number of particularly tiny (half a spoonful) of precourse items - e.g., squab liver mousse before squab. Cheese course - looked like a decent tray... More

As others have pointed out, this really is a special culinary experience. I booked this as a special meal for our engagement and the staff congratulated us upon arriving and had presented special menus for us to take home - a lovely touch. The setting is superb - it was a blisteringly hot day so we sat in the patio... More

You need to have at least 3 hours to enjoy your dinner. We choose The Chef's "Grande Dame" which is the 12 course meal. It allows you to try very small portion of the Chef's specialties. My favorite was the Goat Cheese Macaroon honey nasturtium. The food was very good but plan on spending a lot of money. The 12... More

We made a reservation at the restaurant for dinner going by the 35-50 price guide. Actually, there are ONLY two choices. The $130( per person) or more expensive taste menu. Everything is extra. Also, a gratuity is automatically added, even for two people without notice. Our bill was $377.00! We were not strangers to gourmet cuisine, but felt slighted. Magazine... More

We can't remember when we have enjoyed a meal more than our "Grande Dame" chef's 10-course tasting menu. Every dish was perfectly prepared, both in the balance and freshness of the flavors and the appearance. But unlike other tasting menus at other restaurants, the flavors were the stars of each dish (as opposed to sensationalized appearance). And the numerous tiny... More

The food, service, and ambiance at Madrona Manor were all first class. A prix fixe menu offered 6 scrumptious courses at a price much lower than you would probably pay in a big city. Attentive waiters brought everything promptly, explained all the dishes, and offered various amuse-bouches and palate cleansers in addition. Each dish was creative and beautifully presented but... I have eaten in this resturant several times over the years and in fact had the best meal of my life here in 2012 but last night was a letdown. There were a few bites of good food and one excellent course but several that were less than expected. Most notably the lamb was tough, fatty and underseasoned. Two courses featured... More
