A bit wacky, offbeat but lot's of fun, Bergamot Alley is a very cool concept. Where other places (bars) have the usual array of local California wines, BA serves up hard to find artisan European producers which serves as an interesting contrast to every other bar in the area. It is also a wine shop where you can purchase by... More

Bergamot Alley is a sweet little spot just off the square. Great funky music. Anna banana is to die for. Don't expect any locals wines. You will find a fantastic selection of European wines and bears. Mondays is movie night! My only minor complaint....my clothes smelled like the fryer when I got home. A must go!!!

I actually love this place. Incredible wine selection from Italy and lesser known wine area. Interesting varietals. Great music on the turntable - really, it's a record player. Beer list that will satisfy any taste. And they recently added food. The only problem I've had is with the service. I've come in when they are not busy, waited 15 minutes... More

I think we were just lucky when we happened upon this place one evening. They had a great band inside playing Louisana / Cajun style music, so we thought we would give it a try. The ambiance was the best for this type of venue, a long narrow alley style bar with comfortable chairs and tables. We found a table... More

This bar has a great selection of the expected wines, but also many beers to choose from. The staff are knowledgable and very helpful. They play vinyls only and the music was fantastic, soulful and brought back old memories for us.

And, perhaps live music and local color. I had a great Italian wine that I normally wouldn't have ordered.

We stopped y on the way to dinner for a few drinks. The setting was very cool, the decor was very creative. We were sitting in old elementary school chairs that had been converted into bar stools. The bar tables were made out of hot dog bun baking pans. The wine and beer list was eclectic.

Cool wine bar that's not part of a restaurant or winery. My only complaint was the music was too loud for 6pm. But I guess that's a bar for you vs restaurant.

What a find! Being Sonoma county residents, it's hard to find a wine bar that can surprise you. Bergamot Alley completely blew us away! With a selection of completely non-local old world wines, the friendly staff and vinyl records setting the mood, we immediately fell in love with the place. The beer selection is second to none too. We brought... More

If you were to invite a few friends to your garage or loft, play great vinyl, pour unpretentious but wonderful wine and beer, and create a vibe that is both welcoming and hip, then you might want to take a page out of the Bergamot Alley play book. It is not often that you find an establishment that serves only... More
